Just because someone wears a weave, does not mean that they are bald. My sister has what black people call good hair. It's really soft and curly and she hates it! She wears a weave because its easier to manage and she likes the thickness and kinkiness of a more AA texture. The sad thing is when people make negative comments like her weave is bothering them and her natural hair is way longer than their hair!

That is a weave with the invisible glue and it should look real that's what they pay the Big Bucks for you know like thousands per weave. You are giving your real hair time to grow thats why its best to wear sow ins not that nasty stink glue on your scalp thats damage to your hair. For everyone who is saying that weaves don't grow your hair, you must not be taking care of it. And I should know. My hair barely covered my earlobes, but after two years of getting sew-ins, I'm now working with a good sixteen inches of my own tresses. Ming-Lee, at the beauty supply, can kiss my azz. So, Gabby is cool, but I'm not impressed with her hair.

I have had weaves, and when they were taken out my hair had grown remarkably. Please don't think that women don't have hair under the weaves. In fact, many women (myself included) wear *** weaves to avoid cutting their own hair.
