People just because both parents have dark hair does not mean their child will as well. Robin is white and Paula is biracial so I'm sure down the line someone in their family is a blonde. I doubt gender has any bearing on genetics.Either way a multiracial men and women have the same genetic makeup regardless of their gender.
Looks like they each are happy in seperate ***. The photos don't show tension to me, but more like someone captured expressions that aren't flattering. Paula likely has a blonde haired gene from an ancestor that combined with Robin's mom and it formed a dominant blonde hair gene for their baby. It happens! Most African Americans have dormant genes from "Massa" that can surface with their children even if both parents are the same race.

This happens often. I have a very fair-skinned uncle with biracial children who barely appear part black. Their are blacks with little white ancestry with this color hair, its nothing new. There is also the possibility of the baby not belonging to one other either of them(doubt). A lot of times women with eggs that aren't receptive use another woman's eggs to become prego. Grandmothers are able to birth healthy grandchildren due to young eggs. Creepy.
Robin and Paula both have the albino recessive gene which makes that kid look extra white and inbred. The baby only LOOKS like he has down syndrome which seems to show up more so in kids with 75% caucasian blood for some odd reason. Two dark haired parents can produce a child with light hair if both parents carry the recessive blonde gene. So if both Paula and Robin have the recessive blonde gene, (which is probable seeing as she is half white and he is fully white) And the child inherits both of these recessive genes (one from each parent!) they will have blonde hair. There you go for those that are simply repeating the same question over and over again.
Also blonde hair can and will most probably get darker as infants grow older. A little less real housewives, a little more biology 101 and we may get somewhere in life.

First of all Paula is bi-racial and she had a child with a white man who has a mixture of races in him as well. Having a really light, blonde baby is not so unusual in that situation. Mariah Carey is the only one of her [bi-racial]siblings who is really light with blonde hair, Victoria Rowell has a blonde daughter who looks so white people thought she stole her. GENETICS. When you start mixing things together you really don't know what you're going to get.

Just because the baby has blond hair, doesn't mean that it's not their child. Look at Solange's son. He either has green, hazel or gray eyes. Solange or Juelz's father Daniel doesn't have light eyes like that. So, what would explain little Juelz having them? Children can always pick up features from other family members way down in the family line. Anyway, I hope they work it out.
I hope that the black community does not frame and shame this child for being white. (If Obama and Berry are black, then this child is white). Judging from the comments on this board, this may be what is in store. The black community seems to be so self hating in part. And it's really ridiculous because much of black history is bi-racial history. Dubois, Thurgood Marshall, Williams, Booker T. Washington, and many of the inventors were either bi-racial and looked biracial or looked closer to Anglo. Many people of color, from Asians, to Hispanics and recent African immigrants, immigrated to a country that was more tolerant, because of the contribution of many Anglo dominant men who were classified as black. They were keen on writing, ledgislating, leading in a way, that earned them the respect of the majority of the country that favored civil rights ledgislation. And even Dr. King was part Irish.
