: We're just glad that Kim ain't joining the STICK FIGURE TREND that's going around Hollywood.
"stick figure trend"? Don't you mean the size they were meant to be if their parents never overfed them? There are plenty black women who aren't built like future weight watchers clients or *** models. She's cute but a little too much meat on her bones. Stop promoting obesity to our race. Not every black man wants a cornbread fed heifer of a woman js.
Why is it that Black folks think it's okay to mock someone who's heavy? But for some reason it's not okay to mock someone's color? Some are genetically predisposed (big-word alert..lol..meaning: it's out of one's control)to being larger(larger, not "Precious" -like..). This double standard ish has to stop. I'm a thick(yes, thick, NOT fat),lightskinned, tall drop-dead gorgeous chick, and if some "skinny"dark(and probably miserable..) chick called me "fat" then her "color" is fair game!Period.
Isabella, you're an idiot. Not just because of your views, but for thinking "predisposed" is a big word. Unless you have a disease that makes you gain or lose weight uncontrollably, you can fix your weight problem. If genetics was dictates a persons weight that morbid obesity and anorexia wouldn't exist. Skin color can barely be tampered with, fatty.
Gee. Where WILL I get the time to read all of your wonderful responses. I knew it . Color is a REEEEAAAAL sensitive issue(well, not for me..:) amongst SOME of "us" . You all want the right to make fun of heavier people, but don't want your hue brought into it. And the name calling? The last resort for those with the weaker argument. I have an idea! Let's all post our pics! Then we'll see who's who, and what's what! Now, just some advice for the "darker" ones.. Lighting is VERY important! Make sure you're well lit, so we can see what you actually look like without straining our eyes, kay'?
It really concerns me that the gist of what I was saying was lost on so many of you(NOT that I'm I'm suprised..) Whether or not either can be controlled or not, it's a double standard to think that one persons weight can be made fun of , yet not anothers hue. An insult is an INSULT, period. Too many heavier children go through school taunted for their weight, and THAT is accepted, when NO *** (and that is exactly what it is..)should be excepted. Don't give it, if you can't take it, baby.
I love her necklace, and she does look good. @sixwishes-your preference is fine, but not every one CAN be a size 2. If Kimberly ate 1200 calories a day and worked out like a triathlete, she STILL would look more Serena Williams instead of Nicole Richie. Her bone structure and body don't seem like she's meant to be skinny, ever.
All she has to do is make sure she exercises daily, and eats healthy. I give her kudos for losing the weight naturally though, and keeping most of it off. She didn't go the lapband route like everyone else. Keep going girlie
