Jill Scott is a pretty and talented artist, but let's be real, she needs to lose weight to crossover to the mainstream. If she just want to be another R&B singer that is limited to 1 or 2 radio stations then fine. But if she wants to crossover and get that major money then she really needs to lose the weight.

Love Ebony and Essence but maybe they need to focus on having fly chicks on the cover more often and a better variety and current . Why are black womens magazines and black media so preferential. Media has a obsession with overweight women.. Has Rhi had a cover has Megan Goode had a cover what about Nicki... I mean they need to step up who they have on the cover. Every black women dont have weight issues sometimes we want to see fly chicks too mind body and soul. Are the contributors big or something. I love the photo of Jill though and she has something to contribute and represents .. but they od us on big girls. They can never complain about representation. Hollywood loves big black women. Size 14 + or chicks that have lap bands. We do too but *** ok already. Jill looks awesome.
