: MediaTakeOut.com confirmed that yesterday PLUS SIZED SUPERMODEL Mia Amber Davis passed away at age 31. She is survived by her husband, Mike and no children.
Mia was a WORLD RENOWNED model and is probably best known for playing in the movie ROAD TRIP. She stood more than six feet tall and effortlessly carried her weight (which could get as high as 325 pounds).
As a courtesy to Mia and her family, we will NOT disclose the suspected cause of death. But we can tell you that there was NO foul play involved.
May she rest in peace . . . .

You are not leaving out the cause because you're respecting the family. You're leaving it out because you don't know. Her husband has already spoken out about the fact that she had a routine knee surgery the day before, was taken to the hospital complaining of dizziness and passed away later that day. I am offended about the 'mysterious illness" statement because you intentionally left it open for all assumptions and that was complete unecessary and unfair to this woman and her family.
SHE DIED AFTER HAVING KNESS SURGERY IN AN LA HOSPITAL. THE SURGERY WENT FINE AND EVERYTHING WAS WELL HER HUSBAND HAD SPOKEN TO HER AND SHE SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS IN GOOD SPIRITS.
HOURS LATER, THE NEXT DAY HE WAS CALLED AND TOLD THAT MIA HAD PASSED AWAY.
SO MAYBE IT WAS A HEART ATTACK IN THE HOSPITAL WHICH IS VERY NORMAL FOR SOMEONE WHO IS 36 (NOT 31 AS MTO SAYS) OF ANY SIZE AFTER ANY TYPE OF ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY. THE RISK IS ALWAYS THERE NO MATTER WHAT SOMEONE'S AGE OF WEIGHT IS.

I pray she left this world ready and my condolences to her family (she's just sleeping until her time comes to be welcomed into heaven) and I say that because she could of knew she was dying (assumptions are unnecessary when it pertains to death) MediaTakeOut, doesn't believe in RESPECT... I don't trust hospitals or doctors - they cover their *** by issuing the cause of death on the certificate as CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE. It is a general oxymoronic cause of death - being that heart failure is death. Hopefully they will consider an independent autopsy.
Hospital issued CHF as the cause in a family member only to find out independently, that the dr. nicked the colon during surgery and the family member actually died from an infection (peritonitis (sp)- almost less than 24 hours after surgery.

I have to say that I've never saw so man ignorant people. Mia was an amazing person, in the industry for many years, with Ricky Lake, It's *** at the Apollo, Movies, countless runway walks and print. Her untimely death is tragic and Her friends in NY are devestated at this sudden loss of life. to MDLFNGRBTCH and all others with negative, ignorant comments, you will have your day. Prayers to Mike and her children and countless friends. Mia always had a smile. Gentle soul and always fun. Nothing bad to say about her. Mia's accomplishments were many but she remained Mia.

Let me get this right, She had knee surgery and then she died? Let's think about this, Who dies from knee surgery? also If she was 325 at one point in her *** life and she lost it, Do you know what condition was her heart in? Do you know most women have heart attacks. People saying it wasn't due to her weight, Ok then what was it from? Why is it that thousands of athletes and non-athletes get knee surgery everyday and none of them die? It's a shame that she died too young but I don't need to see a coroner's report to know that her weight had something to do with she passing away. For the sake of your health it is very important to see your doctor and get specialists help for your condition. This is why why I wrote what I wrote. But people are saying she was 200lbs ok, her BMI would be 27% If your BMI is 27-29.99 your risk of health problems becomes higher. In a recent study an increased rate of blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease was recorded at 27.3 for women and 27.8 for men. It may be a good idea to check your Waist *** and compare it with the recommended limits. So she was still overweight

MTO you need to fire your editors. She was 36 not 31. She died of complications from a surgery to fix an old basketball surgery. It was a routine surgery but they believe she developed a blood clot. A bloodclot due to her being on blood thinners. Question why does a person needs to be administered blood thinners? especially a person in her 30's? You can die having any surgery. There is no such thing as minor surgery when it involves anesthesia. People have died getting their tonsils removed, bump a knee injury. As for the blood clot, there was a police officer here that suffered a broken ankle and developed a blood clot while in the hospital and died. That's why they are supposed to come around and give heparin *** to patients that are bed-ridden.
