: Actor Richard T Jones gave the COMMENCEMENT SPEECH at the University Of Maryland-University College this weekend. And he did such an ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE job . . . it had us wondering . . . is he ON SOMETHING????
It started off badly when he took to the podium and said the following:
Wow! I had this great speech ready for you guys and then you put me behind a bunch of doctors. You put an actor…behind a bunch of doctors…and then they said everything I wanted to say so I figure I’ll keep talking until I say something.And it all went DOWNHILL from there when he TRIED to sound INTELLIGENT . . . . but was just rambling on - saying COMPLETE GIBBERISH!!!had such great analogies. I had such great quotes…And every one was used already. I’m glad I looked up a word called improv because that is what is going to happen here.
OK, we have a few questions. First of all WHY would they get HIM to be a graduation speaker. We barely even know dude's name. Second . . . no there is no second . . . why the F*CK you get HIM as a speaker.

You can tell he was a little bit nervous. Honestly the guy did nothing wrong, and there was nothing he said that was so outlandish. You can tell he just ran out of words. But on the real, he still should have stuck to his original speech even if he was going to say what other people have said. Better repeat what others said, then this snafu.

***. That's why I hate public speaking! Nerves will kill you everytime. Being an actor you would think his nerves wouldnt get the best of him. But I guess when you have to use your own words its different. He should read the speech he wrote regardless. Another point, this isnt a race issue either dumb *** racist people on this site! The WHITE SPEAKERS at my graduation was horrible speakers just like the valendictorian who graduated Magna *** Laude---he really sucked and had all of us confused!!!!
Ok listen, Although I normally don't stick up for MTO, but when MTO wrote the whole "IMPROV" thing, that WASN'T MTO's words! that is what RICHARD T. JONES actually said!! he said "So, this is gonna be good, I'm glad I looked up a word called IMPROV cause that's what's gonna happen here" he said this after he was explaining how the other speakers said all of the quotes he was gonna use.(4:39 mark)
So this time MTO wasn't complete idiots...

Im sooOOoo embarrassed for him I think I wanna cry!!!! YTF didnt he keep it *** if he didnt have *** to say???? And what is SOO hard about giving an inspirational speech??? I think he was on the lil blue pill!! They needed to get a hook and haul his *** of that stage!!! *Hides face in embarrassment*
University of Maryland is a great school. Why al the criticism? Is it because there is jealousy that people are doing things with their lives? Please. I didn't watch the video and will not watch it. Whether it was boring or not giving speeches are hard for some people. At least he got up there and spoke.
