Its not hard to look this way. Exercise, decent diet, a little makeup, nice hairstyle and a cute outfit, and you'll all look good. Too bad so many black woman get bad weaves, don't workout, eat terribly, dont take care of their skin and think some little bright head to toe colorful, urban outfit with tight jeans means they still look good. Excuseme, Im currently engaged to a woman on the same level as i am. Were both graduates in corporate America. Any non-black woman I've been with have been as classy as my mother. Lighter skin never excused trashiness for me. With that being said, i do not understand how your comment related to mine. My comment was about trashy black women acting as if its hard to look this good. These same trashy, black women are the ones who've blinded th e world to black beauty .

I agree, sixwishes. Ghetto women have diminished the thought of an attractive black female. They come out in greasy scarves, a coogi outfit and an ashy face swearing up and down they're cute. I can't even count how many times a black female dresses like the norm and people do double takes like she's a model. Society is so accustomed to the hoodrat just hopping out the bed that when a beautiful, black girl comes around they're astonished. Halle doesn't even try hard, but has made People's most sexiest list numerous times. It's amusing, yet sad.

"Black women are undesirable because they LOOK like hoodrats" is no different than if a woman stated, "Black men are undesirable because they ACT like hoodrats." You are treating the two as if they are different, yet you're not getting the point... and that is, many women have not let the NEGATIVE stereotypes about Black men affect their preferences for dating Black men. SOCIETY attaches the Black male's image to the negative traits above, yet despite those traits, they are not KNOWN for being undateable/undesirable.
At the end of the day, we BOTH are referring to how negative GENERALIZATIONS affect dating preferences. If you cannot UNDERSTAND that, then it's clear you're splitting hairs simply to suit your argument. And more to the point, you fail to understand why your “theory” (one used by many BM as for why they don’t date BW) doesn’t hold up.

When I made the point that Black men, despite their negative image, are still desirable for dating, what exactly did you understand that to mean??? Yes, there is a double standard. And it doesn’t just span across *** (the point I made) but also race (the OTHER point I made). And that’s why I call BS.
Most people just won’t admit or accept that BW, with or without the negative image assigned to them as a whole because of the few “hoodrats,” will still be undesirable to most men. Asians have positive stereotypes attributed to them, yet Asian men are the most undesirable group of men if you ask most women… even in comparison to BM despite BM’s negative stereotypes.
