: We've been in this business long enough to know that Kim Kardashian would do ANYTHING to stay in the limelight. And coming up with an ENGAGEMENT . . . just as her celebrity was starting to FADE . . . is the kind of ISH we would expect from her.
In 2009, MediaTakeOut.com was one of the FEW places in the world showing photos of Kim wearing an "engagement" ring (See story here). At the time, Kim and her media folks were telling EVERYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN that Reggie had proposed to her.
The truth was that Kim BOUGHT her own engagement ring (or rather, was GIVEN it by a Los Angeles jeweler in exchange for some promotional work) - and she was trying to PRESSURE Reggie to marry her.
Well it appears that Kim may be doing the SAME THING with her new BF Kris Humphries. Cause that "new" ring she's rockin . . . looks a whole lot like the "old" one she was wearing in '09!!!

I truly believe that Kris really loves Kim and did buy her engagement ring,i dont feel that she truly loves him. Reggie loves white women,but he still was smart to had peeped Kim's game and quit while he could. When the announcement was made the whole clan was tweeting and gushing about it. telling everyone it was real which made me a little suspious. I think Kim and Kris are both mutually using each other. Kris was a nobody before he got with Kim so he's achieved a certain level of fame and attention from this relationship. Kim wants to one-up her sisters by having the biggest ring, biggest wedding etc., and she's desperate to stay in the limelight so the engagement was perfect timing for her.

The difference is that Kris himself has said that he bought the ring, whereas Reggie never confirmed it. The engagement is real. Y'all stay hating on Kim. The rongs are def not the same the newer ring's center stone is bigger and sits ontop of the baguettes pluse the band is thinner. he probaly saw that she liked this style ring and just replicated it a bit for her. It's not the same ring, the *** you provide with her and Kris in an Airport ,provide the best evidence that it isn't the same,the sides of the new ring slope up, are more refined and slimmer than the other. The old ring is not set with the same style prongs, this isn't clear, but where the side stones meet the center stone is different. The old ring also could be a replica the metal work as well as the stone cutting and brilliance (at least from your photos) don't look nearly as good as this new one. Maybe she just got herself her dream ring in replica until the real thing came along.

1. People should realize that people can wear rings on ant hand that they want. That proves jack. It only makes Kim look like an idiot, sporting her engagement ring on the wrong hand.
2. The rings are EXACTLY THE SAME. Period. Has any one not heard of angles? In the right light, diamonds can look other colors, that’s what prisms do. (It doesn’t look a different color anyways…) Also, you can clearly see the diamonds on the sides in the 2009 ***, and Kris admits they’re there in ‘his’ ring, any article about it says so, regardless if you see them in the 2011 ***. Furthermore, only a dummy would see one ring as square and the other as round. The bands are exactly the same, the settings are exactly the same, and it’s the same *** ring! GTFOH
3. And for all of you jackasses that can’t understand why a paparazzi photo isn’t as clear or as good as the image quality of the professional *** taken for Kim and Kris’ engagement press release, then shame on you for being so *** dumb. Get it together.
