yes pretty much every one was rocking this and other asymetric styles with the big gold rope earings, acid wash jeans and crazy shoulder pads. I was pretty young then but i rememeber and everybody though they were the sh!t. The 80's were the worst style era ever - hands down.

What most people don't know about J.P is that she does not have the nappys. She has what was referred to back in the day as (good hair)

Those are not chemically induced finger waves, that is her natural hair, gelled and waved with a fine tooth comb.

I am not very fond of who Jada has become as a person, but that's what happens if you spend too much time in LA.

However, I must say that back in the day she was real, she was down, she was a cool chick to be around.
