Mweezy, like i said, Italians are Latin. I mentioned language because it's an example. You being Italian doesn't mean a thing since most Americans are notoriously ignorant to race and nationality. They're nationalities, not races. These nations don't have one set race, but are known for having a predominant one.
Also Italians speak a Latin-based language but they do not identify with Latino. They tend to be darker like the Spaniards because the Moors invaded their area and the mixed. And if you go to Howard Beach or Bay Ridge and ask an Italian if they are Latino, they'd probably spit in your face and say they aren't Sp!cs.

White is just a skin color. You can be white and also be Latin, Latin is only spoken in the Vatican City, which is in Italy. People forget about countries like Argentina, most of whom are of Italian descent. Also look up the Latin Union. You can call yourself white all day long, but you're still Latin. Just like white people in South Africa are still African i.e. Charlize Theron. White is not an ethnicity.

Some Italians ARE mixed with north African (north Africans are mostly ARABIC, sometimes mixed with black, or some north Africans are Berbers), the MOORS who were an Arabic people from north Africa conquered Southern Italy (Sicily) & ruled for several hundred years. They mixed with the Southern Italians hence the reason some Sicilians are of mixed heritage.
2nd of all, The TRUE Latin people originated in EUROPE. The "Latino" or "Latin" that most refer to today are Latin Americans. & do you know why Latin America is CALLED "Latin America"?? It's because they speak a Latin derived language. Mostly Spanish, & Brazil being the exception in Latin America which has Portuguese as an official Language. The Latin derived languages aka "Romance" languages are Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, & Romanian. So in all actuality, LATIN EUROPEANS are white. Latins are anyone from the Latin based language speaking countries that includes people from Europe, HOWEVER Latin Americans are also called "Latin" or "Latino" whom many are not white but Mestizo, mulatto, Amerindian, & so forth. This is where many people get confused.
