Sounds like the reason he had the difficulty breathing is probably due to the high altitude(thin air) in Denver. A lot of people including healthy athletes and entertainers who are not use to that type of altitude have a difficult time breathing. If you sports fans remember back in 07, a Pittsburgh Steeler almost died in Denver due to the high altitude. So Im happy that it didn't come to that extend for Chris and got better pretty quickly.

It's because he was performing in Denver (aka the Mile High City) Its much higher than most of the U.S. and there's less oxygen the higher up you are. I take it he flew in that morning and went on to perform instead of getting there a couple of days early to let his body adjust to the oxygen levels lol

It just the change in the atmosphere. Higher altitude. When I lived in Denver the doctor said it takes about a year to adjust, so I was out of breath at just walking up a flight of stairs. He was jumping and singing on a hot a$$ stage in Denver. Of course he would need oxygen.
