During the Great Migration Blacks left the Jim Crow south in droves for a better way of life in the north. And as one person on here commented, any African American that talks about people from the south is talking about their own ancestors.
I really get tired of hearing the "We" comments. Black people don't represent the entire black race. I have a job, been to school and I live on my own, I grew up in a prominent black community where a lot of the people are nurses, doctors, lawyers and entrepenuers, Why don't MTO start to show them instead of all of these idiots. I represent myself as a black women, who's in her late 20's doing her thing, They have to do better not me! Black people are just as unique within each other.

@Katdaddy Please don't start. The South has the highest number of black college graduates and professionals. Also, the highest number of black businesses and suburbs. Northerners aren't that much smarter then anybody else. Go to some beat up, ghetto school in the slums and the kids aren't scoring high either. With that being said some of you Northerners need to get stop with that "I'm better than you attitude". @Edia A lot of people from up north and out west are actually moving down south because of the better quality of life, peace and quiet, jobs, and to get a decent education at a lower cost. The south is where it's at right now.
