According to a ROCK SOLID SNITCH over at Beyonce's label, Bey's New Album 4 may be sold ONLINE at a discount. And get this . . . they may sell it for only 49 CENTS!!!
The insider, who spoke to MediaTakeOut.com on the condition of anonymity told us that Bey's team is trying to work out a last minute deal, with either iTunes or Amazon. The insider explained, "Lady Gaga was able to sell a million in a week. If we can price even below [the 99 cents that Lady Gaga's latest album sold for], we can meet and maybe even surpass her."
Dang . . . we weren't gonna buy Bey's new album. But hey . . for less than 2 QUARTERS . . . we may pick it up . . .

I'd take the money over number of albums sold any day. Eminem sells records without cutting prices like that so what Gaga did is something Beyonce should not feel pressured to do. She basically cheated to get to the million mark the first week. When an artist can sell them at the current market rate and manage to still sell a million the first week, I'll be impressed. And Gaga took a page from Nicki Minaj. She did the same thing. I think the first week on certain sites her album was going for like .99 cents which is why it did so well so fast. Granted it took her about a month to sell a million, but she wasn't as established as Gaga at the time.
They'll probably do a bargain for the opening week. I'm guessing it will finally wind up between $6.99 and $9.99. This $0.49 thing is probably a story someone made up.
They also should've included Move Your Body. The school kids seemed to really like it. Bad move if it doesn't wind up as at least a bonus track.
If her album doesn't sale which I know won't happen she will be fine I just wish she would've stuck to r&b her voice is so pretty I would like to see her showcase it a Lil more I mean I get that she wants to sale to more than one kind of audience but she getting money I say sales what ever pays the bills

Rihanna did the $0.99 sell on Amazon for Rated R before Gaga did it for Born This Way. Rihanna's wasn't bundled with any Amazon service either like Gaga's. Taylor Swift did her's for $3.99 for an entire week on Amazon. So artists do special deals. The thing backfired on Gaga because store retailers sent back all her unsold albums to ask for a refund and her sales dropped by almost 90% the next week. That's the biggest drop in history. So, no Beyonce isn't going to sell her album for no $0.49. I could see Beyonce doing $4 because of the title 4, more like Taylor did if she even does that.

I am not going through the trouble of buying her album. I think it was a good idea for her to go to Nice, France and just perform. Beyonce's CD will sell, no doubt about that. But, will it sell as well as her previous CD's? I highly doubt it. I heard the entire "4" CD and it's not bad, but it's not great either. It's just "o.***." to me. Beyonce has some stiff competition out there this time around. When you have Adele, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga on the scene, they all have one thing in common. Their all white. The point I'm trying to make is this, the industry is going to look out for their own. Period. And, their "leading lady" at the moment is, Lady Gaga. I'm not trying to make this a "race" issue, but this is how the industry works. Simple as that. The industry is basically run by white folks. So, when Beyonce (a black woman), is faced with all of these white female singers, who do you think the industry is going to back up more? If anything, it looks as if their trying to get rid of Beyonce to me. That's how they do you. They reel you in, praise you, knock you down and then get rid of you.
