The baby is cute. Even though he was born out an adulterous affair. Mashonda's children are cute too. What kind of hair did you expect the baby to have. Alicia get perms or straightens her hair with a flat iron or hot comb. She wear fake hair too. It used to get me that people didn't know the braids were weave and she wears weaves, wigs and pieces now. She had 2 different hairstyles at the same event curly than straight in the same dress. How you think she did it. I see Alicia is still saying fatter than normal.
I think the child is beautiful. He's innocent and I don't think comments should be taken out on the child. That in itself is childish. On the other hand I am dissapointed in Alicia Keys and she seems like having an affair with a married man and then marrying hiom did not affect her at all. Not all black women have a slave mindset, for some of us adore babies with Zulu features--at least I do, for my world does not revolve around skin color and hair.
At one time, I thought slavery had a gross effect on black women, but everyday I learn the opposite: slavery had the most negative effect on black men, for a great deal of them are desperately searching for manhood and self-worth in the white world; they have yet come to the conclusion that a mean-spirited joke is being played on them.
EvilAlex--- NeNe is a clown you are certainly right about that. But a lot of these type of women don't insult their sons due to their black features. The resentment stems from the failed relationship with the child's father. Which is wrong as well but I don't think it has to with skin color and features exclusively.
Black women ( a very large percentage) love black men and the darker the better. I personally know a woman who got hurt really bad by her children's father who abused her and eventually abandoned her. Guess which one of the kids got the worst insults and *** whipping s? @EvilAlex If you go back and read my post, you will see that I stated that black men were most affected by slavery--I never said that black women were not affected. However, I will say this: A woman's self-esteem is based more on how men, especially men she is attracted to, view and treat her. For example, some of the stupid male puppets on this site praise non black women for their hair texture and length, but quickly degrade a black woman for her hair texture and length.
