What's so natural about weave manipulated into a style with your hair? What's "protective" about having follicles pulled 24/7? I don't like the idea of protective styles. All I've seen is black women covering their beautiful hair with weave. What's the point in growing out your natural hair if you're going to never show it? My black friend messed up her hair by wearing a half wig for a month. Her once full hairline is gone. All she did was lay her natural hair down with jam and put a headband on.
