: MediaTakeOut.com learned that Amy Winehouse, the beehived soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits overshadowed a distinctive musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home, police said. She was 27.
Winehouse shot to fame with the album "Back to Black," whose blend of jazz, soul, rock and classic pop was a global hit. It won five Grammys and made Winehouse — with her black beehive hairdo and old-fashioned sailor tattoos — one of music's most recognizable stars.
Police confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London; the cause of death was not immediately known. London Ambulance Services said Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene.
While the cause of death has NOT been confirmed. Police suspect she died of a drug overdose!!!
When you are poor and cant afford bad luck,you work like crazy to reach your goals. Then you are there,and the monies start coming in, and all you can think about is where you can find the best high grade drugs so you wont have to deal with "pressure" of having money and fame. I am seriously sad... this is horrible, can't believe it... no more songs, no more concerts (wanted to go to one of her concerts one day)...nothing, I was just listening to her "Back to Black" cd on my ipod and I asked my mom if she had seen my Cd so that I could put it on my phone ..but still never found it!!! I can't believe this, and the warning sign was that concert she did where she could barely stand still and sing ...someone shouldve stepped in and helped her at that point :( So *** sad!!! :(

This is so so sad but it doesn't matter what she did she was still a human struggling with an addiction and for a lot of people its a hard thing to over come some people often loose control even tho they try hard to get it back I'm sure she wanted to stop but drugs are a powerful thing once it gets to that extent so lets keep the negative comments to urself or not respond at all Rest in peace Amy your now free, I will miss you and your undeniable talent.

I saw this coming for the last few years...but it still didn't stop me from standing in the middle of my room, staring at the alert on my phone from MSNBC. After reflecting for a bit, I realized why it was still a shock.
I REALLY, REALLY wanted to be wrong about this...and I suddenly had to deal with the very real fact that I was not. I was hoping against hope that she would make the kind of turnaround that we saw with Robert Downey Jr., who was the worst case I had seen until Amy. First day I ever heard her,I got the chills...as I have now on the last day of her life. Peace be unto you, Amy.

You know this is really,really sad i dealt with an alcholo addiction for 5years after my mom died i almost died i passed out and had a seziure becuase i had more alcohol in my system it *** down i woke up sitting at the table with paramedics around me luckly i had roomates at the time addiction is a terrible thing that has ahold on you my father has been drinking since i known him his addiction came from his first wife was murderd by a serial killer in L.A he just never got over her death then he met my mom so when i first took that drink it was like it was already in my system.continue...
I didnt know Amy winehouse music I knew her from the tabloids putting her down about her addiction even on this site..my dad is a quite drinker..but he still has an addiction when i had that seizure from alcohol he was crazy out his mind wanting to come all the way to coasta mesa just be at the hospital with me because he's the only parent i have left..all in all addiction is something you dont have control over if its in your genetics are if you are surrounded by enablers its the strenth of wanting to change. and she was surrounded by enablers.

I am sorry to hear about Amy Winehouse's passing,her life ended so young at 27. I truly hope that Lindsey Lohan,SlickEm,Charlie Sheen and Frankie Lons(Keyshia's mom) better wake up and get the help that rehab can provide for them,otherwise they will be the next celebrity fatality mentioned in the media from drugs.
