Well, I was listening to a group of GROWN BACK MEN who ALL have lived that "LIFE" and they actually put me up on game about HOW hip hop has been a mis-leading and very seductive in guiding our YOUNG BLACK MEN WITH FAULTY INFORMATION. When I say there is no positivity offered in the music. THAT IS WHAT I MEAN. I don't need them to buy me a house I HAVE MONEY AND I AM FORTUNATE TO HAVE WHAT I HAVE.
On another hand there are alot black kids that DO NOT HAVE POSITIVE ROLE MODELS and when they fall in love with music they are not receiving a positive outlook. No ONE is saying "BE BETTER THAN WHAT WE WERE RAISED", "WE NEED TO BE BETTER PEOPLE", "STAY IN SCHOOL", "GO TO SCHOOL TO BE A DOCTOR, ETC." "LOVE ONE ANOTHER"... There are alot more positive things that the HipHop community can be saying to these young brothers who don't already have "A POSITIVE ROLE MODEL"
But on the other hand that is the WHOLE PROBLEM IN ITSELF... MUSIC IS NOT MEANT TO BE A POSITIVE ROLE MODEL, ITS MUSIC, NOT MEANT TO BE A PARENT!!!

I dont know if its true but, I don't believe it is. I have heard people say people I know are *** and it isn't true. My point is just because we think it, and someone says it, doesn't make it true.
