The cd is not wack.If Kelly would have made a cd full of ballads people would complain.Now that Kelly has a album that has a lot of upbeat songs people are still complaining.a lot of good songs are on the album.Work it man,Heaven and Earth,Each Other,Im dat chick,etc.I love Kelly music but I think she needs to tone it down because people already waiting for her to fail.The industry need more chocolate female singers because all the top singers look the same.It is time for a change.I miss the 90s because it was a variety of singers with different looks.Tweet about to come back on the scene.
It’s been a pretty minute since we’ve heard from Tweet.
Indeed, a label change and an halted comeback attempt have kept this Southern Hummingbird caged for almost 4 years.
Now, in a recent interview, the ‘Oops, Oh My’ singer has lifted the lid on what’s kept her musically inactive, her comeback, and forthcoming tour.

She titled her third release Love, Tweet because “it’s a ‘Thank You’ to my fans that never left me, who are still there on MySpace, Twitter and Facebook, checking for new developments, and coming up to me on the streets saying ‘We’re still supporting you! Come on, we’re waiting for you!’ So it’s just a love note to my fans saying ‘Thank you’ for all of the love and support.”
But the excitement was sadly interrupted with the passing of her mentor, Jheryl Busby, leaving Tweet again wondering if this “music thing ” was something she still wanted to do. She was again silenced. “It was a hard time for me but I thought I can’t give up, especially not now, I owe it to my fans, to Jheryl and myself to make sure this project comes out. Instead of a note to my fans, it will be more like a letter.” laughs Tweet.
Now having to start things all over again, Tweet is ready. New slate, new album new vision and new songs. Leaked favorites like “Good Bye My Dear”, with fellow Atlantan and two-time Grammy-winning rapper T.I., and “Anymore” produced by Novel (Joss Stone) are no longer and she says her fans will not be disappointed with what’s to come.
“I took it back to Southern Hummingbird…acoustic, in your face lyrics.” she says excitingly. Like “Love Again,”(on ITunes) produced by Charlie BeReal and Craig Brockman which she describes as “Mary J. ‘What’s the 411’ in a very Tweet way.” “Love Again” is about “being confused about love and wondering if you want to go there again,” states Tweet. And then there’s the acoustic record “Alone,” produced by Tweet, Nisan Stewart, Charlie BeReal and Craig Brockman reminiscent of her own “Motel” from Southern Hummingbird. “‘Alone’ talks about being faithful to a person and putting all of this time in and still feeling like you’re by yourself. True story — that happened to me.” “I put together a lot of records I think everyone will enjoy: My Tweet fans, and also the people who really didn’t get to know me,” Tweet continues. “I’m introducing myself to them with an album I’m proud of.”
Sounds like the world should step back— and prepare for Tweet’s roar again.
Though somewhat of a sceptic when it comes to ‘independent’ releases (the major label machine still wields too much power), I will willingly turn into a believer for Ms. Tweet. Vocal butter, her voice is everything; most certainly one yours truly is ready to welcome back. Particularly in light of the Jersey Shore ***-pumping cuts which are all the rage these days.

@blackbeautyand diva not to be hating or anything bur kelly's album is horrible now im a fan of destinys child but im a beyonce fan and was happpy for kelly and her moment, but that album i cant get with, i suggest you sample it on itunes or some other site before buying it, she has about 2 songs but the rest it seems like it was rushed, but hey your taste might differ from mine just looking out for a sister and her money ***, its still a recession lol

She looks alot better than she use to but she looks so manly sometimes especially in comparison to Beyonce who is so feminine looking. I co-sign with say_it_loud, 100%! There are many beautiful dark skin women and many ugly light skin women and vice versa. Beyonce has a very feminine face and Kelly has a very masculine face. She needs hair and make up to look average or decent. I understand you people are tired of Beyonce but give credit where it's due! Beyonce is talented and pretty. She looks oblivious to it. When I wear padded bras w/underwire, if its not hooked tight enuf and I raise my arms (like what she must've done in the pic) the l'il poptarts will slip out beneath. Just like if its hooked too tight, they try and escape from the top or will pop out if I bend over. She just raised her arms too high.
