These bi-racial kids need to get a clue. The ones who are not raised with a strong sense of black pride minds get real messed up. I have two kids who are half white. But as a black women I raise them as black and I make sure they don't let their light skin and straight hair get things twisted. In our house they are black. They are no different from any other black child. They know they are mixed, but they understand that being half white is not the same as being white. Being label bi- racial just messes these kids up.
