I agree. The 'Civil Rights Old Guard" tells us that not voting "dishonors" those who died for our right to vote. They died fighting for a way to make things better for us and having the right to vote was a huge step back then. I understand where Maxine Waters is coming from. Her whole policitcal career is based on trying to help african americans. However from a political standpoint, Obama cant say hes focusing only on black unemployment. If he did he would isolate himself from other races, because every race is hurting right now and would be angry if he focused on just one race. Rubio has some good ideas, many politicians have good ideas. But here's my problem, True, Obama hasn't done much for the economy, but why would I vote Republican when I know it was their policies that put us in this position? Do I vote for the guy who made the mess... or do I vote for the guy who hasn't been such a success at cleaning it up? This is basically what it comes down to. Bush had 8 years to mess things up, I think we should give Obama a chance to fix it. I know he hasn't come up with a plan and he better do something about that as well.
