: MediaTakeOut.com just received a SHOCKING piece of information. According to one of our EXTREMELY RELIABLE insiders, rapper Nelly reportedly owes his on-again-off-again girlfriend Ashanti more than $500,000.
The insider, who spoke on the condition of anonymity - but who IS CLOSE TO ASHANTI, told MediaTakeOut.com, "It's not fair. Nelly has [over the course of their relationship] borrowed more than $500K from Ashanti. It was not gifts either, he promised to pay it all back."
The tipster continued, "But Ashanti hasn't seen one penny. He bought her a couple of dresses, and took her on some trips, but what about a check . . . He really needs to give her back her money."
According to the insider, Ashanti would NEVER specifically ask Nelly for the money back - but she definitely wants it from him.

But don't think that means necessarily their money is low. Plus, when u get into the entertainment world, u encounter many rich people. A rolodex of rich friends & associates can b a very powerful tool. There's an old producer who got $ from def-jam's hey day (90's). He owns 5 stores and partnered with other businesses in the commercial downtown Brooklyn area. He has been good since 97 and so will his children and possibly their children.
