Slavery originated in Europe as "indentured servitude". The chains came as a result of Europeans setting out on voyages to discover other parts of the world. when the white man supposedly discovered the New World..(the native americans were already there), they went back to Africa and chained 7 ft black men and basically controlled their minds.
