For those of you who DON'T know, Bow's father is an ALCOHOLIC who was rarely in his son's life growing up. But now Alphonse claims to have CLEANED HIMSELF UP . .. and he wants to reconnect with his cleebrity son. Especially since Bow Wow has a new daughter.
So far, both Bow Wow and his mother have IGNORED Alphonse's Twitter messages. What do YOU think . . . should Bow Wow FORGIVE his dad . . . and let him back in his life???
I think his dad is going about it the wrong way.. Why twitter?? The only way that Bow Wow can actually have a great relationship with his child is to forgive his dad for not being there for him & he will be able to move on... That doen't mean that he has to totally acept him back into hislife tho... Forgive & set yourself free...
Another low life Black American man who didn't take care of his kids and now looking for a free ride. African men are different. They stay and take care of their offsprings regardless of how poor or rich they are. You lot are a disgrace. You have nothing in common with REAL Africans so drop the African American please. Only bow and his mother know if his dad is either reaching out from a place of genuine love or malice. If he has a track record of popping in and out of their lives,doesn't have any redeeming qualities as a person and is still abusing any type of drugs or alcohol then they should block him and have no further contact, but if they still communicate with the man on any level then that means they care so I say make some demands about the role he will play in all of their lives,forgive him for past mistakes and move forward.
Forgiveness doesn't mean allowing some one back into your life.........it simply means I forgive you ....sometimes the best thing people can do is to let people go..----I agree if he's reaching out to make amends because he's ready to be a father.....Bow Wow is close to his step father............the second he starts with give me give me...............you know the rest!!!
I say so, If he wanted money, he would have reached out long ago, when Bow Wow really had it like that, but he didnt. His father will one day give in account for what he did to his son, if his father is sincere, he can have a wonderful rest of his life with his father. I have 2 siblings and between the 3 of us we have 5 children, our father NEVER did for us, either, but we are grown, now, and doing okay, we reunited with our father for our children, so they could get to know their grandfather, and it meant a lot to him, so, it healed a lot of wounds, not all, but some. We still know that our mom was the soldier in our lives, though, and will never forget that, but, its okay, because we turned out okay without him, so we thank God for that.
He should forgive him and take it slow letting him back in his life. Let his father prove he is straight, now and if he is, by all means he should give his father another chance. People who get clean deserve another chance in my book. But of course, I think he should be cautious letting him back in his life. And the twitter thing - I'm old school when it comes to that. I do NOT believe in putting my business (personal or otherwise on a website). Bowwow doesn't associate with NO ONE in HIS family? If he does, he should get in touch with him through that person.
I don't think its all about money. People are shallow. Stating comments and putting their twitter name out there. Y'all need to stop. Time will tell the truth about what is going on. So many black fathers, famous child or not are not in their child's life. All Fathers who are not in their child's life should reach out to their child for a relationship. We should support anyone trying to reconnect with their son. Obviously he was around around if he has a pic with JD and BOW WOW when he was younger.....
Well at the end of the day Shad has to do what he feels is best for him. He seems like he needs or wants closure cuz he raps about it often. I understand cuz im in the same situation, I havent seen my day since i ws 12, im 24 now and until recentley I hadnt talked to him except once when i was 16. Then the day b4 HIS bday in march he has a friend of his msg me on fb tellin me he wants to talk 2 me and giving me his phone number. I thought about it for a while, then called him. He apologized and I have forgiven him but we've only spoken 3 times since then so its not like everything is all peachyagain, that will take time. And all yall sayin he wouldve came to Shad at the height of his success when he "had it" yall obviously dnt knw anything about the entertainment business, cuz trust that man has more money now then he had at 13 when he first came out. Until u sell millions of records and do tours u dnt have money yet, he wasnt "rich" until he ws about 16. And now after all the records he has sold cuz (wanted came out when he ws 18 and is one of his top sellers) his tours, all of his movies (he commands over 5 mil a movie) he owns a clothing store, shoe store, and a Mcdonalds he is worth over 40 million, Waaay more than he ws worth at 15, knw ur facts b4 you try to hoe the ***. If its about money bow definitely has it, and its his chocie if he wants to help his dad out or not. I would wait though and see what his intentions are.

Bow Wow you need to Let go and Let god. Teresa Caldwell, you need to get off that high horse. You be the one on twitter every single day tweeting about God and giving ppl advices. I think it's about time you need to take your own advice. Miss Joie yes she's was a hoe indeed but at the same time, i see her a very humble strong woman if it wasn't for her trying to deal with you Bow, Man, you would have whined up just like your dad, once upon a time, you did deny your own child at first. I'm glad that you finally step and man up and take care of your child. Don't do this because of your album. Do this from your heart and take care of your responsiblility. i am goingthru this same thing right now in the present as we speak. what's f-ed up for me is my mom died of cancer t the age of 50 -11 years ago. til this day still after my mom has been ded and gone this cat still hasn't been reaching out. I made a couple of appearances on bet and all off sudden in 2005 he wanted to see me. I was like F- that but hear goes my grandma be the bigger man-god don't like ugly -god is love then my conscious took over. so I went & saw him it was awkard I was there for like 30 min. and we barely talked. I got that off my chest how bout now just last month in august my brother said that ytour father is dying. So I took a day and went & saw him. He lives in the projects he needs a new heart cant have *** damn. Then i took a sec. & reflecting on a guy that has 6 or more kids which none he keep up with. i did't write to this for someone to feel sad. just be aware that this real life all over the world. So to end this I gave my dad a few hundred dollars whether he deserved it or not. I tell u one thing life is mofo and god is real

Hold on ya'll.....this is his father. I don't know what went on with them, but alcoholics deserve forgiveness too. Even if he wasn't there when Bow Wow was younger, he can still form an adult relationship with the man. We need to take care of our parents to a certain degree....because it's the respectful thing to do. Why have a good lifestyle, but not be able to help out every now and then. Now I wouldn't let the money thing get out of control, but love your parents for who they are and not who you want them to be. That is a part of being an adult and growing up......you can't just love people when they are doing good and then kick them to the curb and rip them a new one when they fall off. I have two very flawed parents and I respect them for who they are and not who I want them to be, because the forgiveness was for me, as much as it was for them. We need to wake up in America, because trust me, the most nursing homes are in the U.S., so that should tell you something about how little the country values its older people. Be glad that you are who you are and that the right sperm hit the right egg, for you to be born!

Its the same story shad is saying, but shad isnt including his father for crazy reasons. I cant speculate on specifics, but I will say that he's my neighbor, and he's cool as hell. He aint looking for money, from what I see, I just see a person that wants a relationship with his son. Same with me. My kids live in his neighborhood and im developing a relationship with them. Bow has been over here plenty of times visiting late at *** in a black Range Rover with black windows and black rims...SO obviously he wants a relationship. Ive seen the baby pics, the performance pics. Little do yall know, he started shad by having him do Richard Pryor impressions...THATS HOW BOW STARTED.
