I hate it when people say that black guys should leave skateboarding "to the white boys." If black people had never started to play basketball, (which was started by WHITE people) or golf (White people), we wouldn't have MIchael Jordan or Tiger Woods. Let the boy do what he wants. Oh and Karrueche is with him ALL THE TIME cause he made her his 'stylist' and she quit her job to be with him. He still dresses like a big *** kid with no style so I really think he just made her stylist to give her a title to have an excuse to be with him all the time. He must really love her lil no body having *** cause he takes her with him every where! She is cute, kinda reminds me of Chilli but she is looking really plain in these pics. She cleans up really nice though...sometimes.

You guys really don't know anything about Chris Brown. He's been skateboarding for years. He practices all the time. I think it is stupid to tell people what activities they should be doing just because it is more common for you to see whites doing a certain thing or blacks doesn't mean people have to fit in to where you think they should. That does not create a healthy society because it tells people that we are all the same and we can't be individuals. Just like everyone else who skates, Chris learned to skateboard at a certain time in his life simply because he watched people do it and thought it was interesting to do. You might be looking at him as a poser but that would mean everyone who learned to skateboard is a poser. As long as he is doing what feels right to him then he is being himself... if he is doing it to fit in or impress a certain group then he is not. I have to agree that being a follower is really stupid. For example, I remember going to school and seeing the rejected kids such as the skaters, punks and goths get picked on because they were different but ever since rappers and slutty celebs like Rihanna started rocking the look Black people became more interesting in being who they were mocking. I never used to see Black women dye their hair weird colors or even wear mohawks. None of them wanted to cut their hair off, but all of a sudden they wanted to do that because Rihanna did it or Cassie. My point is that in the Black community most people are scared to be themselves. We need to encourage people to be innovators and just do what they want without judging them for trying to do something that doesn't seem Black enough. Because either way, what makes someone seem more "Black" to you is just a social construction and they are fitting in the same way as when they are trying to fit in with the whites. Please be open minded and quit expecting people to be who you want them to be. Chris was dancing to Nirvana and people were shocked he liked grunge alternative bands because he is Black and his style is hip hop. A lot of blacks secretly like all the stuff we are told not to like. When we say it is for a certain race that is not true. That is something you tell yourself. None of these activities belong to a certain race. Those come from stereotypes. If you think that way it means you don't meet a lot of people or you don't get out much.
You can't tell people what's for them and what's not for them. Our identities are shaped and formed because of the people who are around us. You don't know Chris well enough to say he is a poser. You were not around him in junior/high school to know his interests and you have not been around a lot of unique Blacks because apparently, y'all are shocked that he a Black man, would skateboard. Your judgments come from the fact that you are scared to go against the grain so you attack people who have the courage to do so.... As long as he isn't doing drugs i could care less if he wants to skateboard...
This is NOT new for Chris Brown! He stayed at the Atheneum Hotel, in Downtown, Detroit, Michigan around 2005-2006 and was skate boarding in the Lobby! We had to get him to do it outside, he only had one or two records out then, and I believe he was performing at the Fox Theater right around the block from the Hotel..He was such a delightful, polite boy... but now? WOW!
