: Former world heavyweight boxing champion Tommy Morrison appeared in a Kansas court yesterday afternoon where he was charged with possessing large quantities of MARIJANA.
Morrison, who is only 42 years old, was charged with felony possession of controlled substances and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia for use. His bond is set at $50,000.
He was arrested in March 4, 2010 in Wichita for possession of marijuana. He had a prior conviction under a similar offense in South Dakota back in 2005.
Tommy, nicknamed "the Duke," defeated George Foreman in 1993 to win the WBO heavyweight title. He also starred in the movie "Rocky V".
He was forced to RETIRE from boxing when he tested positive for HIV.
the grand nephew of john wayne he was the great white hope but he also came out later said he was negative i know he went to jail where he was tested and claimed again he was negative. he tried to make a comeback but i don't know what happened. MTO I enjoy reading your posts sometimes they are quite humorous, but this is something you should not play around with. Yes back in the 1990's Tommy Morrison was diagnosed with HIV, but if your team of researchers would have properly "researched" his information, you would have known that he was wrongfully diagnosed. To say HIV did something like that to this man (who doesn't even really look like Tommy) is completely ignorant and idiotic. There are tons of individuals who have contracted the HIV virus over the years and are healthy as an ox, i.e Magic Johnson. It is shameful that your office is composed of mostly young minority individuals and you have them actually partake in the sophmoric behavior like this.

Why is MTO stigmatizing people with the HIV/AIDS virus? That fight with George was *** near 20 yrs ago, OF COARSE HE LOOKS OLD!! There are alot of people with HIV that are as loving and caring as everyone else, and they were probally infected by someone close, or someone who lied to them. SO stop stigmatizing, because you dont know this man.
