Yesterday Cornell West told reporters that he is LOOKING to create a PRIMARY CHALLENGE for President Obama. He is ACIVELY encouraging people to help DEFEAT President Obama.
Why is this important? Well because EVERY SITTING PRESIDENT that had a primary challenge in the last 50 YEARS lost re election (Jimmy Carter and George HW Bush). And EVERY sitting president for the last 50 years that DID NOT have a primary challenge WON re-election.
Well, if CORNY wants to try and make the PRESIDENT lose his job . . . we should make sure that he LOSES HIS JOB ALSO!!!

Until about yesterday Obama has totally ignored middle class, working class and poor people, especially black folks, so that he could give as much of our tax dollars to the rich! Obama is a complete and utter failure at governing and has only been able to achieve one thing in politics, getting elected. In terms of actually getting things done, his record has about as much substance as Justin Beiber's. Obama just has the wrong ideas, thats the problem. Republicans always bring up Ronald Reagan these days because his presidency had a lot in common when he came into office as Obamas. Both of them inherited a horrible economy that was still heading downward. Both of them applied very expensive plans to change it. Reagan passed the biggest tax cut ever combined with deregulation; Obama did the polar opposite and spent $1 trillion in stimulus. He’s raised taxes, hoped inflation would make the debt cheaper to pay down and added a huge regulatory burden which stoped businesses from hiring and expanding. The difference was the outcomes. By the time Reagan was where Obama is now in his first term, the economy not only rebounded but it took off like a rocket. Obama wants to blame everyone but himself for his failed policies and lack of leadership on anything. He has expanded the size of government by 30% and its still growing. The bigger the government grows, the most waste and red tape there will be. The way you solve the problem is less government, less regulation, less taxes, simplify the tax code, etc.
I would like to see a few of these things happen which would turn around this economy
1. Eliminate the Capital Gains Tax for investment for companies creating jobs. 2. Reduce corporate income taxes based on a "jobs" formula, and raise taxes on crazy bonuses and salaries. 3. Massive tax incentives for companies who bring "out sourced" foreign jobs back home -penalties for those who export them. 4. Dump the "Green" agenda in the trash. 5. Forget National Health Care. Expand Medicare a to those 50+ or with preexisting conditions. Means test SSI and Medicare. 6. Start drilling off shore 7. Stop the ethanol fiasco - families need less expensive food - not more expensive gas. 8. Cut government red tape to the bone from local to federal level. Projects need to be fast-tracked and not tied in regulatory knots over a thousand issues with Environmentalist theology. Government needs to "relearn" common sense and judgment. Stop micromanaging and creating roadblocks over insignificant issues. 9. Close that southern border! Deport those who are here less than 5 years. Fine the heck out of companies who hire illegals. 10. Simplify the tax code with a flat tax
@Great1.....stop using the excuse that Republicans have obstructed Obama. His first 2yrs in office Democrats controled the Congress and Senate and he was able to pass anything he wanted. He just decided to focus on other things. Republicans have only run the congress for what, 6 months. Obama looted the future to bribe the present. @APR....in the late 1970s and early 80s because of Jimmy Carters liberal polices inflation hit 13.5% and unemployment went above 10%. It started with Carter and continued getting worse into the begining of Reagans first term. But he did the opposite of what Obama is doing and by this time in Reagans first time it was dramatically getting better and he was reelected because of it. So yeah it was because of Bush and the Democratic congress, but Obama ran for president saying he was the best person for the job and campaigned to fix it. He had his chance to do something about it, but has shown no results and made things much worse. So why does he deserve a second term? If it was a business and a company was starting to fail, they would replace the CEO and after a few years if that CEO put in place more failed policies, do you think the company would extend there contract for 4 more years? No, of course not. And noone would blame them for firing the guy. So why would we *** we do the same when its the CEO of the country? Bush didnt do a good job and he didnt act like a republican, he had very democratic type of economic polices. You guys talk *** on his policies but Obama basically continued and shadowed those same policies, and you guys agree with that. You cant have it both ways and disagree with Bush but agree with Obama when the policies are just about the same or the same just extended.

We have to learn that politicians are going to be criticized and that Barack Obama is not your boyfriend. Stop making excuses for the man. Stop expecting people to feel sorry for him. No one put a gun to his head and forced him to run for office. He said he could deliver on a lot of things and people have the right to assess how well he's kept his promises. So far, a lot of people are disappointed in what he's done. That's real. He will be judged based on his record. Enough already with this talk about "what have you done?" I don't have to do anything but vote for or against him or not vote at all. I don't have to qualify my vote with how many jobs I've personally created.
Instead of beating up on Dr. West and Tavis asking where were they yesterday when Troy Davis was being executed, maybe we should be asking where was Obama. Smiley and West couldn't do a thing but stand in the crowd. But the president's voice matters. Seems to me he was silent because it's an issue he didn't want to touch cause he felt it would ultimitely alienate white voters. *** justice, it's all about him getting re-elected. These are the types of things he'll have to account for on election day.
I don't know which one is crazier. The fact that you don't think Dr. West or Tavis Smiley ever put their lives or well being on the line for anyone or you somehow think that President Obama has. You have got to be stupid to suggest that Dr. West, a very outspoken advocate for poor and working people who was essentially ousted off of the Harvard campus for embracing the art of hip hop as scholarship never stook his neck out. Do you know how many ivy league professors get cushy jobs at the university and won't even fix their lips to speak out about racial or economic injustices. Dr. West never bites his tongue to speak truth to power. Long before Obama came on the scene he was an outspoken critic of Bush and Clinton and Reagan and anyone who he thought was doing a disservice to the poor and disenfranchised. One of the biggest lies ever told by Obamites is that Dr. West just started speaking out when he didn't get tickets to the inauguration. Dr. West has always spoken out and doesn't mind sticking his neck out to embrace the most radical people out there.
Tavis Smiley could be a bigger name in journalism if he didn't chose to be an advocate for black folks. He could be the male Oprah if he left black folks alone. But Tavis has chosen to publicly stand up for black causes and give a voice to the black experience. He could even be sitting up with all the other sell-outs breaking bread with Obama in the WH if he would just kiss his pinky ring. But Tavis has a no excuses for Obama stance that gets him ousted from the negro elite. He's right to stick his neck out and ask that Obama be accountable to his base. He was right to speak out against Obama's constant ignoring of black folks. Even though a lot of you hate him for it.
Obama on the other hand is one of the safest politicians there is. He hasn't stuck his neck out for anyone. Even if he started to stick his neck out he quckly retreats and runs to safe ground. He doesn't even stick his neck out for the people who got him elected. Even with the Harvard Law Review he was quick to sell out the interest of minorities and called it building bridges. He didn't accomplish much as a community organizer. He never stood his ground in the Illinois State Senate or the U.S. Senate and he's the same way as president. It seems as if he doesn't have a neck at all, let alone the will to stick it out.
BTW, Obama could have been a different kind of president had he wanted to last ***... if he wanted to stand up for what he thought was right. Who knows, maybe he thought the murder of Troy Davis was right. But again he chose not to stick his neck out on the issue. The political calculation would have been too great of a cost. So he chose again to play it safe and stand behind the skirt of the Supreme Court. He chose to hide behind a bunch of unofficial rules and White House positions. Now Troy Davis is dead and so is the idea of justice in America. The only thing worse than a coward politician are those who chose to make excuses for that politician's cowardly acts.
How about Advisor to Obama Elizabeth Warrens comments the other day. That noone ever got rich in this country on there own. That its all because of the government and you should have to take a big hunk of it and pay the government. Shes a freakin communist. Nobody in this country got rich because of the government, they did it from hard work and good ideas. Her quote the other day is a perfect example of the liberal mindset that is ruining this great country. People get ahead in this country but talent, hard work and ideas. They risk there capital to start there own business and work tirelessly to make it succeed. It has nothing to do with the government.
Dude!!! You really love the taste of Obama's nutsack. I've gone to work today, handled my business, made my money and I come home to see you're still on here defending Obama. I envy you. I wish I could believe in a politician the way you do. You believe in Obama like a 5 year old believes in Santa Clause. If health Care is an example of Obama sticking his neck out we're all f**ked. He negotiated that down to a payoff for the insurance companies. Oh well, I won't *** on your parade. I'm glad you believe in something.
