: It was GOING DOWN yesterday at the Annual Wacka Flocka BOWLING FOR CHARITY event in Atlanta. It all started when a dude who USED to be signed to Wacka's label CONFRONTED HIM at the event. Well as the below video shows . . . that was not a good idea.
In the beginning of the video you see Wacka getting it in. Then . . . you see dude . .. looking like the COYOTE on Bugs Bunny - after an ANVIL fell on his head!!!

That's what I'm talking about. Let's keep the coonery going. I understand that Waka, excuse me, Juaquin was trying to do. Bowling For Charity is a noble cause and I applaud brothers and sisters for doing events like this, but on the flip side, you can't turn around and glorify a destructive lifestyle or expect for things like this not to occur when you come on the scene.
When are some of you brothers and sisters going to wake up and stop living in these fantasy worlds? Life is much more than being "hood" or "keeping it real" (whatever the hell that means to people these days). There ain't nothing redeeming about wanting to live in squalor or to be an underachiever. There ain't nothing cool about "blowing money fast" or "living hard and dying young". Get some business about yourselves.
I can only imagine what the likes of Marvin Garvey, Malcolm X or MLK Jr. would say about their beautiful people if they seen how we were acting today. Granted, this is only a subset of the black community, however this is the most visible representation of our community that the world has of us. These are the types of images that are constantly shown and celebrated by our boys and girls in the hood. They are growing up thinking that this type of behavior is acceptable but it's not. It is very unbecoming of who are as a community. I just wish we would learn to think and act better.
Rather than spending our money on silly sh*t, how about we start investing bread back into the hood. And I don't mean by opening up clothing stores, barber shops, liquor stores, etc. I mean how about really investing into real estate, improving the quality of living in the hood, renovate rundown housing, etc. I'm talking about investing in the quality of education of children in schools. Teach them about real finances, truly prepare them for the real world. Teach them the difference between assets and liabilities. Teach them to be more self-sufficient and more conscious of their existence.
But someone will probably call me a "Tom" for having such a vision for my people. Some of y'all would rather come on MTO, post ignorant comments and beg for followers on Twitter. You got to want better for yourselves people because ain't nobody about to give you sh*t especially if you can't acknowledge and take care of the things you already own.
I'll still luv ya tomorrow.....
@Bonebody
I totally agree with your message, but I care to note something. Has integration been all good? As the days go by, I sometimes long for the long-ago-days, for blacks had more pride, and to me, were better educated. Segregation (my mother and father time period) was not good, but I must say that it was not all bad because back then as the late James Brown use to say, " I am black and I am proud." Seems like the saying has been lost amongst black people to day.
thats why i dont go to black clubs.black people and their loud ghetto ways cant even be civilized for one second! wacka whatever the heck his name is cant even rap,has no talent.so you tell me why is he famous? o I forget its 2011 and people are brainwashed and slow now days.he is what his name is and thats wack as hell.
