@fredswhitewife, if you don't like Jay Z that is fine but why disrespect his mom this lady has done nothing to you. She deserves respect as any other older person does...don't disrespect her because her son is rich and famous...she raised him up to be a man and to be what he wants to be. We all know they have the money for surgery and other stuff but older women do not believe in that. They would rather stay how God made them. If you put a pic up of you mom and people were talking about her you would be hurt so don't do it to others.
Please do not show your lack of home training by disrespecting someone's MOTHER! Dang! Grow UP!!! Whoever talked about his mother should be ashamed of themselves. She looks like a nice sweet granny. There is NOTHING wrong with her looks. Jay looks alot like her and I may be in the minority but I never saw what was so ugly about him. I agree with who said people act like he looks like Flav. Jay can actually look kinda handsome in suits. Yeah his lips are overly big and nose overly wide but that alone doesnt necessarily make him ugly. If he had a super narrow nose and tiny lips like a white person would people say he's ugly? Its doubtful. Far as lips go, the bigger the better as far as im concerned.
So is this what gets black people riled up? People missed the whole part of the woman running the Shawn Carter Foundation and focused in her looks and the looks of her son. This is part of the reason why our community is so f****d up. Some of you are focused on the wrong s**t. But then again I have learned to not expect too much from people that regularly post comments on this site.

You know JayZ loves his mom, he just glows around her. Also very commendable that he takes the time to give back in for the form of his scholarship programme and letting his mom take the helm, someone he can truly trust.
