Um.....not to be nosy....but if one HIV infected black male sleeps with like ten or more black females.....and they catch HIV....then yes, the rates for black women with HIV will be higher than the men, because you know that the women are not giving it to themselves. It is easier for a woman to catch a disease from a man then the other way around. The only way that the black men would have an even rate of HIV is if the black men went around sleeping with a lot of other men (which it seems like some of these men are well on their way to) or if one infected woman went and slept with a whole bunch of men (but usually women have a smaller amount of sexual partners than men do). Anyway, what's happening to black people as a whole is bad, but there are still some good men and women out there.
