According to a person close to Reggie, the discussion at one point turned to whether the pair could ever RECONCILE.

Now she decides to divorce him...more media buzz with extended content (how she's doing, who she'll date next, etc). If this whole Reggie Bush thing is true, he'll NEVER marry her. I do believe she still loves Reggie but at the same time I think Kim wanted to stay married if only to prove that she is worthy of a husband and kids. Kim is a pretty girl but she is obviously very insecure. Khloe and Lamar got married really quick also but they did seem to have genuine feelings for each other. The chemistry or lack thereof between Kim and Kris was horrible, Ray Charles could see that. Khloe felt something from the start but Kim wouldn't listen to her, all she had on her mind was that "princess wedding" and not being the only sister that is single and for that she need to see a therapist. Kris is too young, immature and disrespectful, hell he makes Scott look like a saint and he kept making comments on national TV that the other men in the family have no say and are riding in the back seat so he was trying so hard to not to be Kim's "pet" and look where it got him. If this story is even remotely true - Reg is gonna hit it and quit it just like he did last time - he's gonna play her one last time just to show he's the man - and he's in control. I am actually a Kim *** fan (as far as reality tv stars go)....and I have to say that her "career" and her 15 mins are officially a wrap. Kimmy and Paris should have done what Nicole Richie did - she saw the handwriting on the wall - cut ties with Paris, got married, had babies, and chilled out. She KNEW when her time was up and made a graceful exit. Literally - I have not seen such bitterness, venom, hatred, just overall dislike of a person since Paris Hilton. What happened to Paris is about to happen to Kim, I just hope for her sake that she is ready for it, and I hope she has saved and invested some of this paper she has made. She strikes me as being the kind of person that aims to please everybody around her and is super-insecure, and morbidly materialistic. I can't hate on her, BC I too am probably a little more materialistic that I should be (if im being honest) what all of this spells for me is a miserable life ahead for her....I hope she's ready for the backlash, because like Occupy Wall Street - it has arrived - and it aint going nowhere any time soon.....SMDH.

I agree with you about the insane fanbase that Kim *** has for a woman with no talent she for some reason is a so-called gobal pheomenon. I am not a fan per-se but I cannot knock this woman's hustle. She turned a negative to a positive and maked a career of being a party hostess. I've seen where pictures of girls in compromising positions get literally destroyed by them or made them move to a different state because of the shame and ridicule, It's like she looked at what Paris Hilton did and flipped it and quadruped it. Should we continue watching her show?? I don't watch it and children *** watch it either. But you also have to remember that Black people are not the driving force behind Kim *** and her family, We don't shop at her stores or buy her products,,White and Hispanic people have the greater population, and it's Ryan Seacrest and E! Like Kris Humpheries family said, Kim is making a big mistake. No man is gonna wife her that is making his own money, so she better stay with her husband.
