: MediaTakeOut.com has some EXTREMELY disturbing news coming out of Chicago. Hester Scott, a 55 year old woman and veteran police officer was beaten and stabbed to death by her 15-year-old grandson after she came home to find he had skipped school, prosecutors said.
What happened? Well Keshawn Perkins (the 15 year old boy) was so incensed at being shouted out by his grandma that he 'hit her with the lamp until she shut up' then stabbed her repeatedly with two kitchen knives.
Then it gets WORSE. The ninth grade student, who had been adopted by his grandmother, CUT UP THE BODY and wrapped her in a blanket. He then dumped her in a backyard sewer trap.
The animal then stole her purse and ran off into the night . . . like a jackal.
The boy is being charged as an adult.
He's obviously unwell. Losing both parents is a trauma that people tend not to get over, people focus on how 'grateful' the orphan should be for being taken in, (like its his fault his parents aren't around) instead of treating and counselling him to cope with the emotional and psychological trauma that stems from experiencing such a big loss, early in a child's development. Maybe he never got that treatment and became mentally ill as a result? Either way, hope she rests in peace.

When you tell one sided stories on bs *** that doesnt really matter anyway, thats one thing, but when you do it in a situation like this, thats just plain out ignorant and trifling! @taskonie, MTO has a really bad habit of taking a story and posting what they want from it, I dont have a problem with them posting, but they should have provided the link, and kept their smart comment "ran off into the *** like a jackal" to themselves....its unfortunate, nonetheless, and very sensitive. I just dont understand our youth, and what drives them to do the things that they are doing.....we have to figure out a better way. May she rest in peace.
It's always more to a story than what is initially reported to the public yes that murder did occur here in Chicago on the south side,but the boy suffered abuse at the hands of his drug addicted mother before he was turned over to the state first and then later adopted by his grandmother along with his siblings & after she had him for sometime she was also accused of abusing him and investigated while also being stripped of her police powers up until her death. It is a heartbreaking tragedy, but the boy has mental heath issues and was traumatized by something because he stabbed his granny to death and that's an extreme reaction to skipping school. The poor boy was probably tormented and harassed in school, these schools here in Chi and they're gang problems are no joke and no place for a boy with special needs. My condolences to the family of the slain officer and also to the family of 3 people in their 20's who were murdered *** up Gangland style this past Saturday on 87th & king drive as a young woman 22, her boyfriend and his friend picked up a birthday cake from Piece of Cake bakery for her two year old daughters birthday party and never made it back home. So very sad that there is no value on life for some "VERY LOST" youth. I pray for us all we need JEHOVAH.....

His mother is not deceased she's a crackhead and the grandmother took the kids in and tried to rescue her grandchildren. Some kids are able to be saved and some are not. Remember young black men are not diagnosed as mentally ill - JUST ANGRY, unfortunately. Any young man who does that to a woman for almost no reason is definitely mentally ill in my eyes - but it looks like the same thing is going to happen to him that happens to most mentally ill black man - he will be charged AS AN ADULT. That's his mental instability in the law's eyes. He just a criminal in the making - so why not charge him as a Adult Criminal now. This way when he comes out of jail 15 years down the road - it will SURELY be an adult criminal then. It really is a shame - the murder and the charge. RIP - very sad, sad, sad

I read one commentor say the child was abused by the biological mother, then another commentor say he was abused by the adopted grandmother. I've witness kids being abused to the point it can drive anybody up a wall. And that *** gets downplayed easily out here in the chi. May god bless the boy and his grandmother because I can feel that god has something brewing for us all.
