: MediaTakeOut.com just confirmed that yesterday, rapper Erick Sermon, half of the group EPMD, suffered a MASSIVE heart attack. He's currently in serious but stable condition.
DJ Scratch confirmed Erick's condition last night, when he Tweeted, "Erick Sermon had a heart attack today . . . He's ok, but still send your prayers. He is not on Twitter." Fans have continued to tweet their questions at him after the initial announcement, prompting him to reply, “I wish yall tweet me this much when I tweet good news. Smh”

tru @VanderSanRamos Heart and Lung diease is very frequent in our community. Bobby Brown had a massive stroke a few years ago from all the years of bad eating/drugs. MTO writers are Gay black men, so they see the world tunnel vision. But I think you right.. IF their viewership drop by 20% or more that would give them a wakeup call in regards to posting rumors of AIDS without proof.
Hip Hop really is a dying art form. Eric Sermon is from the late 80s group. EPMD. Not only are they one of the greatest groups all time. Eric is one of the best producers of all time. They all introduced Red Man, Das EFX, Keith Murray, K Solo to the world.
Have some respect and learn the art form. It started way before 2002. As a recorded form it's been around for 32 years.

EPMD (Erick And Parrish Making Dollars) that's real hip hop right there. I guess if it ain't lil wayne, soldier boy, gucci or waka whatever yall don't know anything about it. Well this is the meaning of real true hip hop. EPMD was one of the groups that help lay the ground work in hip hop. At one point everybody wanted to be like them it was insane. He also was a big producer in the game and formed another group called Def Squad with Redman and my baby Keith Murray (lyrical genius), I mean this dude is talented. I hope you get better Erick because lord knows we can't keep losing the foundation of hip hop like this. Get well Erick aka "The Green Eyed Bandit" - yall can't stand it".
