: Ever since Jay Z misjudged the appetite for his Occuy All Street t-shirts, peopla have been COMING FOR HIS NECK.
Now a popular artist created a new sculpture, which shoes Jay Z depicted as a 'Scrooge' like character after he announced plans to market T-shirts based on the anti-capitalist Occupy Wall Street movement without donating any proceeds to protesters.
The sculpture, the work of US artist Daniel Edwards, shows Jay-Z with a bling dollar sign on his chest. Above him are various fictional characters known for being skinflints - Mr Burns from The Simpsons, Disney's Scrooge Mc Duck and Richie Rich.
"I think Jay-Z has made himself a face of [the] Wall Street that Occupiers are protesting against," said Edwards. " Maybe Jay-Z is striving to be in the one percent? Which is why I chose the composition of a totem pole because I thought it would resemble the number one. Rap stars who turn 'Scrooge' have to suffer some damage to their street credibility."
The work is titled Mogul (Jay Z Occupies Occupy Wall Street).
Is it me that noticed that the sculpture also has breast. Oh my so they calling him a bytch also I guess. That should go to show everybody that they talk about being in the hood and how they love the hood and how they don't mind being in the hood, but will do what it takes to not have to come back to the hood for good

Of course baller worshiping n*ggas will try to dismiss the Occupy camp as "haters" or some other tomfoolery, but the Occupy folks are right...Trying to take a political movement and *** it for a few extra dollars is exactly the type of exploitation and greed that the movement is protesting against. What is wrong with what he did? He's rich because the man knows how to make money. If you took 20 millionaires and traded their fortunes with 20 broke people, in three years they'll all be back where they started. Some people know what to do with money and some don't.
OWS are the definition of haters. They targeted a group and spend everyday behaving negatively toward them. To further prove my point read the posts they write about anyone who oppose their way of thinking. Very few will (or are capable of) have a rational discussion about their beliefs. Most will view you as an enemy and treat you as such.
I agree...its not too late. A lot of those people have degrees, there are jobs out there, yet corporations are holding those vacancies hostage (IMO) to continue to make Obama look bad with this high unemployment. It's a great start to an even greater end. What they need to do is become more innovative and actually attact the pockets of the source.
They need to think about taking all of their money out of banks. Why continue to patronize a bank that has been loaned YOUR MONEY in a bailout, but won't loan TO YOU. Then they take your money (bailout) and take lavish trips and vacations??? Look for credit unions to put your money in...ever notice that they haven't failed or required a bailout.
Cancel credit cards. Ever thought of who the credit card company banks with?? If you have a Visa/MC and they bank with Wells Fargo, BOA, JPM-Chase aren't they (Visa/MC) just extending you credit from your own money from the bailout with interest?? If you have a department store credit card and they bank with any of these, isn't your credit limit actually your own money, since our tax dollars bailed them out??
The government bailed these banks out with OUR MONEY and the banks turn around and take trips and stay at lavish resorts, and pay out million dollar severance packages...yet the needed our money??? The government could have bailed out "we the people"...we have debts too, and they're mostly owed to the banks that were bailed out.
Every U.S. president that has ever held office gets a pension...a pension that is passed on to their surviving spouse. But why are "we the people" paying for secret service, office staff/equipment, travel and mail for 10 years when they are no longer in office?? The presidential salary was raised from $200,000/annual to $400,000/annual by Bush...VP, cabinet members and congress don't have fixed salaries...their salary increases EVERY YEAR!!! Yet it took *** near 30 just to get minimum wage raised????

Georgia's repulsive republican't governor has allowed for state jobs to be outsourced to India...Georgia's unemployment rate is 10.2%...above the national average. Yet with all these unemployed people you would take jobs they could be working and give them to India. And the real kicker...they are customer service jobs answering calls for their food stamp program!!!! If he had employed people in Georgia who are getting food stamps he could have cut back on the amount they received in stamps.
Every state, federal and local department HAS CUT EVERYBODIES SALARY EXCEPT THEIR OWN...they would cut police, fire and EMT services (that again....we pay for) and not cut their own staff, or reduce the number of "perks" they receive for doing approximately 20/hrs per week work. Why should they still get city cars when the city is struggling. I LMAO at Detroit city council who decided that they wouldn't go on their scheduled break because they were afraid THEY WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB when they returned...not concern over the residents, not concern over bad city services, not concern over the housing crises...but concern for themselves.

Although Occupy Philly has the right ideal, they should boycott these billionaires by not buying their products hit them in their pockets where they can feel the difference and I bet you they will get a better responds then their getting. Make them lose money instead of still supporting them. Their taking our money the little bit we have lets stopped them from making money and I bet they'll take notice.
