: An MTOer who attends college in Dayton Ohio sent us this flyer - being handed out on campus. Apparently Domino's pizza is now delivering in the "ghetto."
It's been a while since I've seen a phone number listed without area code - even if there is only one code for the area. Then again, it's probably old and recycled - so meh.
On another note...how in hell are they still in business? How did Dominoes get popular in the first place? I tried their pizza ONCE in the late 1980s and from then on, I swore I would never try that nasty *** *** again. The cardboard and ketchup comments are dead on - I knew I was the only one who thought that... LOL
See if MTO writers (and some readers) actually went to school, they would know that many universities in North America refer to the neighborhood around the main campus as the "Ghetto". I don't think Domino's would be so dumb as to market to the poor neighborhoods by blatantly referring to them as the ghetto. You've gotta think sometimes.
This ad can't be real! Anyway if you live in Chicago in some neighborhoods you are risking your life seriously to deliver in some neighborhoods. A woman in her 50's got *** in the thigh dropping off a pizza on Thanksgiving Eve and as soon as she open her car door they *** her,robbed her and she drove herself back to her pizza delivery job where coworkers called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. She survived,but just like "Black Friday" shopping I ask you, is it worth it?
Pshhhhh *** Dominoes. I had their pizza once down in TN and it was NOT anything special. I think I'll stick with my favorites--Pizza Bella's, Beggar's, and Italian Fiesta. On a good day, Pizza Hut is all right too. If they're so afraid to come to my 'hood, that's cool. We don't want sub-par eats anyway.
All Yall are trippin. This *** has nothing to do with black folks at all. Just because the word "GHETTO" is on something doesn't mean it's automatically about race. The UD Ghetto is the housing area for The University of Dayton, which is where this flyer was printed, and why it doesnt have an area code. 98% of the people populating this area are uppity *** white college kids. So whoever is referring to GHETTO as being about black folks must obviously relate these 2 themselves...which is sad. But the flyer is racist tho???? LMAO! Learn it before assuming and taking offense to something that is NOT what some automatically assumes it to be. Geez.

To enlighten you all, the campus has purchased 2 small neighborhoods on each side of campus that the students have nicknamed "the Ghetto" and "the Darkside"...it is sooo far from a "real" ghetto..its simply student housing for upperclassmen...
ACTUALLY THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT...THE AREA SURROUNDING THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON IS REFERRED TO AS "THE GHETTO" BY EVERYONE...IT IS NOT THE HOOD AT ALL!!! DOMINOS WAS ONLY SAYING THEY DELIVER TO THE AREA AROUND CAMPUS...OF COURSE MTO MAKIN IT MORE THAN WHAT IT IS && WHOEVER SENT THE POSTER IN OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE AREA!
