Now check out Jennifer Hudson's new home. It's a long way from the HOOD where she used to live. Here's how the Chicago Tribune is describing it:
Jennifer Hudson, the Oscar- and Grammy-winning Chicagoan who got her start on "American Idol," has a contract pending on a 12,000-square-foot home in Burr Ridge that is listed at $2.795 million, sources told Chicago Magazine.The house went under contract last week and was inspected Monday. Closing is scheduled for January, according to Diana Ivas of Re/Max Elite, who took over the listing in September. The final sale price will be recorded after closing, but if Hudson buys at the listed price, she will get the house for more than 33 percent off the original asking price of $4.2 million, according to the property listing.
She got such a big discount because who the hell owns a 4 million dollar house outside of Los Angeles? Word to the wise: if you're buying or building a house, exercise restraint; otherwise you'll have a lot of trouble trying to sell once you're through with it. Why would the one (or few people) who can afford such an expensive home buy yours when they could go and build their own to their specifications.
So don't put your name in the bottom of your pool , install a glass ceiling in the kitchen, get all gold toilets, or some other tacky *** personalizations that will turn a potential buyer off.

I definitely agree on being despised for wanting/achieving something more meaningful with your life. People will NOT be happy for you- they will NOT. That is one of the major reasons I’ve had to distance myself altogether from negativity. It’s the reason I never told anyone I was buying a home and even waited well over a year before letting a handful of people know I closed on it. I can count on one hand how many I’ve allowed to even visit. Why open my door to enemies KWIM?
Jen’s family was a sacrifice in exchange for her fame and fortune. Even if she moved them away from the hood, someone would’ve had to die. I know it’s hard to believe or even comprehend but as sickening as it is it’s a sad reality.
Guys, we seriously need to wake the heck up and get a clue as to what’s really going on out here.

No disrespect, serious questions here. Can you or anyone here show me where specifically in the bible it states that certain words, words I might add society has deemed bad words are an abomination? What makes these words defiled? Who defiled them and when? Are they really defiling or could these words have secret power society wants to discourage us from using by stating "God said don't use 'em? Think about it, how many of you have felt so much better after you cussed? lol Which gets the point across best, "There there now, Billy. Please sit down.", or "Billy, if you don't sit your mf @$$ down somewhere,"? Billy would have to be a blooming idiot to not get the point from the latter.

im going to state the facts!! 1) the house is very nice, but too *** much money for Jennifer Hudson 2) Jennifer finances last year reported in at 2,000,000 earned from weight watchers commercials 3) She has a CD last year but she did NO touring to the CD and that is where the money is. 4) Jennifer's money she makes from movies isnt the best. 5) According to blackmediasc.oop the montly payments on this house is 10,500 if she doesnt have all the money in cash. THE UPKEEP OF THIS HOUSE IS GOING TO HIT HER IN THE WALLET SOMETHING TERRIBLE. I HOPE SHE KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING.... I WISH HER AND THE FAMILY WELL
Oh and p.s. -- I am not understanding how she sacrificed her family (???) She didn't kill them, some other idiot did. AND, have any of you ever tried to force a senior citizen to move out of there home? Okay, that's what I thought. Don't speak until you've had that experience. when they say they don't want to move, they mean it -- and you simply cannot force them. They WANT to be just where they are, good, bad or indifferent. I know -- I've had the experience.
Unfortunately, she should have thought to move she hell outta one of most dangerous and deadly hoods in Chi before her mom and nephew had to loose their lives. She's a vain and inconsiderate person. It's not about hating, it's about reality. What a pitty. As the Word says..."What profits a man to gain the world and loose his soul"! Hope she realilzes that for the sake of herself and her child.
