: MediaTakeOut.com has learned that in this months issue of Vibe, Beyonce opens up about her true feelings. Here's an excerpt from the interview:
First of all, I don't listen to the radio. If I do, it would be in the car on my way to a venue — but not consciously. I don't go on the Internet. ... Unless I'm approving videos or approving song mixes, I don't go. I don't buy anything online. I'm scared. I don't want to just give 'em my credit card. I don't wanna be hacked ...Everybody messes with celebrities. At a point, you just have to decide if you really want it. If you do, you have to have a tough skin. And after you get a certain amount of success, you have no choice. Either you're gonna turn to other things to take away the pain you feel, or you have to deal with it and move on.
If it's something about my sister or my nephew or it's something evil, then yes, I'm upset," Beyonce said about gossip. "I wanna kill somebody. If it's a rumor that's vindictive, or something harmful, or something everybody's believing that is completely not true, then it's frustrating because there's nothing you can do about it. If someone misquotes you, or says some complete lie, and then they go back and retract that, people still don't believe you didn't say it. ... So sometimes it hurts. Sometimes I wanna cry. Sometimes I wanna scream. Sometimes I wanna curse people out.

Usually the biggest haters are actually folks that truly admire you and wish they could be more like you, whether it is with ambition, looks, success, money, hell anything they feel they don't have enough of. As usual, I read a lot of these comments and all I can muster up is a big.....WOW!!!! To everyone that says this woman is over exposed who in your minds have made her so over exposed? The public of course. To all those who have pointed out all the business ventures that this 26 year old black woman has tried her hand at and either did well or failed, my question is what ventures or business opportunites have you created for yourselves and actually been successful at? It is amazing to me that the very things you all critique are the things that make this chick a force to be reckoned with. She is a true go getter and she does the damn thing. As far as writing credits go, let me school those who don't know much about the music industry other than watching videos and buying CD's, if you write one verse, sentence, hook, bridge hell in some cases a few words you can get writers credits. The original members of the group got writers credits for a lot of the earlier songs simply by contributing to any part of the songs that they sang on and believe me they are still receiving royalties from those songs. I have not read one blog that honestly gives any real reason why you hate this woman, other than she is always trying to do things to secure a financial future for herself and her family. If you don't like her don't buy her music, read articles about her or watch her videos. The last time I checked this was a free country and we were not forced to be Beyonce fans. The fans have made her the pop icon that she is so be mad at yourselves not her.

Editing the song gets her credit as songwriter, and Ne-yo as well as Stargate were credited. As for Kissing you, Beyonce flipped the song and Des'ree was credited. See Kanye sometimes doesn't credit people who originally did it. Unlike Bey who always gives credit but she flips the original and makes it her own but still credits the originators.

I really do not know why fans are saying she is a songwriter...please. Beyonce changed the title added a few different lyrics then list her name first as songwriter. And she added Des’ree’s name as a ‘co-writer’ to a song that Des'ree wrote, recorded and made popular in the 90s. She will never be a real song writer until she writes a complete song by herself on a continuous basis. She is a song stealer and manipulator which is a big difference. Neyo didn't do vocal arrangements, Neyo didn't do melodies. All those are just as important to a song as the lyrics. Lyrics with no music is a poem. Neyo wrote a poem. Beyonce and stargate helped to make it a song. They all get credit.
You throw out unproven statements about her being evil, lying, and other negativites yet can't prove anything. You don't even know her as a person. You only know a public image and other peoples perception of her. Nothing you say hold ANY validity to anyone but you. Prove these things, you can't because every statement you have made is based on someone else's thoughts, perceptions, words, or statements. Case in point.... Neyo says he wrote the lyrics. Beyonce says she wrote the song. Those statements don't conflict. A Song does not have to have words. A Song is still a song with NO words. Words with no rhythm, music, or cadance is a poem.
ANyway for arguments sake, say Neyo said he wrote the song, and Bey said she wrote the song. Prove which one is telling the truth. You Can't. Her statement is just as plausible as his. Also, when you see the song credits guess what.... they are both right. They both have songriting credit so they did both write the song. You can't say his statement is more believeable based on his reputation for writing hit songs. Bey has that same reputation. She also wrote hits before Neyo even became established in the game ... and she also won an AWARD as ASCAP Writer of the Year in 2001 the first african american female to do so. That should be a source of pride yet you only wish to discredit her and tear her down. WHY?
Neyo's last 2 albums went number one. He has been grammy nominated but not a winner. He is gathering momentum in the biz and proving himself. Most of his work is on Upcoming albums. He also has songwriting credit on Beyonce's flaws and all. He is proving himself to be a good songwriter and will get his shine when the atists records come out. In all fairness though Beyonce has done this, and is established. It is unfair to try to discredit or downplay her accomplishments in order to Over play his in an effort to RUSH him into stardom, he is paying his dues and proving himself like everyone else.

There is enough spotlight to go around for everyone. What artist have you ever know to decline work oppurtunities and just "sit down" at the HEIGHT of their stardom? When you are HOT that's the time to work. Why is she any Different?
I thought Alicia Keys was VERY OVERRATED when her debut came out. Because you could tell her talent was being restrained ... Yet People insisted that she be this breakout star and acted like no one had ever come out like her in a million years. Often times it is a curse because then they arent able to live up to the hype on their sophomore effort. Actually her second album was much better than the first but recieved non of the fan fare. i thought she was overrated but I acknowledged her talent, i also saw room to grow. Bey also has space to grow ... in 5 years I doubt she will be running around and laying on the stage and making intro's hanging upside down.
Point being there is no need to take away from one to support another one. Just support the ones you like. Bey's fans support her because they like her and appreciate her talent. None of the fanfare or "shine" she gets is by accident. She work's hard, and her fans like her thereby creating a demand for her. She is not on by taking the industry hostage and forcing them to put her on. There is a demand for her and they know her name has drawing power.
JHUD is talented but has room to grow. Amreica loves to HYPE people up to astronomical heights and then tear them down. JHud played a singer. She is a singer. Not a big stretch. She did well in here role but Honestly, NO ONE in dreamgirls gave an oscar worthy performance and one of them being a recent BEst Actor winner. The singing was the best because thats what they all do. They concentrated on the singing so much that the acting sufferd. Then the singing wasnt even live, it had been sang in take after take after take and recorded and then they lip synched to their own "perfected" recording. We will see how well Jhud can really act in these next 2 movies coming out in different roles other than a singer with a powerful voice.
I really hope she does well because if she doesnt With the oscar win, there will be people waiting to tear her apart, which is unfair because she wasnt even allowed time to pay dues, prove herself or anything before this status was heaped on her. The Media will tear her down because they will be forced to realize that they made a mistake by creating all this hype prematurely. You let the girl get a feel for acting. Let her sing. Let her grow into her stardom. In today's world of instant stardom that is impossible they are looking for the next big thing. They fact that Beyonce has lasted says something in this current state of entertainment. The media makes this HUGE fanfare and then if you don't measure up or fall short of the image they have created for you then they turn you into a punchline. Look at Whitney on top ... then when she has problems that are not all that uncommon, they make fun of her and turn her into a joke. That's not right. The same ones that heaped it on her are the ones who will take DELIGHT in tearing her down...

It has yet to be proven that she conducted herself negatively toward JHud on the set of Dreamgirls or at the Oscars. When J Hud was interviewed regarding the Dreamgirls set rumor she said it wasn't true.

The issue with The Desiree song in not really her fault. She recorded the song and there was legal wrangling and they hadn't gotten the OK BUT SHE didn't make the choice to put it on the album. SONY and their Lawyers did that. Even if she wanted to she couldn't stop it, that is why SONY is being sued. The record company were in control of that, She does work for them.... so she was supposed to record the song, she did. They were supposed to get the clearance They didn't. How is that her fault? She is not the Lawyer, doesn't own the record company, she is an employee and she recorded songs like she is supposed to according to her contract.

Every performance of Dreamgirls everyone's eyes are on ONE character which is EFFIE!! She acknowledged that she was used for name recognition like Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy. She never expected to win an oscar for the portrayal of Deena. She also knows that she has a long way to go before she is Oscar material. Anyone who saw Dreamgirls can see that the parts of Deena and Effie CAN NOT be compared. An unknown that played the part of Effie would have outshined Bey because that's the way the part is written. Effie is the major character. No matter how you try there is NO way to overact or make the part of Deena shine it is not written that way.
