A former Golden State Warriors employee filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against star guard Monta Ellis on Wednesday, alleging Ellis sent her unwanted texts that included a photo of his genitals.On July 25, 2008, Ellis signed a six-year, $67 million contract extension with the Warriors, making him the highest paid player on the team.In her lawsuit, which also names the team, Erika Ross Smith alleges Ellis began sending her several dozen explicit messages, sometimes several times a day, starting in November 2010 through January while she worked for the team’s community relations department.
The messages included lines such as, “I want to be with you,” and “Hey Sexy,” and periodically asked her what she was wearing or doing, according to the lawsuit.
Smith would often reply with “What do you want?” or “I am sleeping,” the lawsuit claims.
“On a micro level, my client has endured unwanted harassment, has suffered and continues to suffer emotional distress and trauma,” her attorney, Burt Boltuch, said at a news conference in his Oakland office. “On a macro level, this type of conduct, especially in the sports world, must stop.
“She was embarrassed. She was intimidated. She felt scared and helpless.”
The Warriors deny the allegations, saying Ellis and Smith had a “consensual relationship.”

I live in Oakland and this is all over our news. Ellis' wife allegedly reported to the Warrior's what was going on, which eventually got the woman fired.
For the wife, she need to check her man, because if he was sexting this woman, who knows what else he's doing and with who. For the accuser, why is she filing a lawsuit now when the supposed unwanted text started in Nov. '10? And what he doin' with your cell number? You could of just given him your office number or something!
It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I stopped watching the NBA years ago, so I don't know who this dude is.................but some of the comments are just 'wow'. Anywho, if the Warriors are denying the allegations and saying that they had a 'consensual relationship'... wouldn't that kind of sort of suggest that despite her looks (as so many people are bringing up), they were close in some way or another?
