She has recently tried to act as if she is more embracing of her Latin ancestry, since Latina's like Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara, J-lo And Zoe Saldana have been more accepted by Hollywood and the mainstream, but you know she identifies more with her "white side than her Latin side. And yes, it's Latino or Hispanic, NOT "Spanish". Spanish is the language or person from Spain. Not meant to describe people of Latin-American nationalities

She is ashamed to be Mexican, as I've read that George Lopez wanted to talk to her dad and she stopped him and said he doesn't speak spanish. Turns out her dad spoke spanish perfectly. To Hispanics eyes she's just a wannabe white girl, with that dark hair, dark eyes and tan skin she's not fooling anyone. One thing is to dislike being what you are and another to just plain out deny it. That might explain why her and her dad aren't that close.

Hispanics are people belonging to a household where Spanish is spoken as a primary language. Persons with Spanish heritage by birth location. Persons who self-identify with Spanish ancestry or descent. None of that applies to Jessica since she was not raised in a home like that neither are her children who even less Hispanic that their mother.
