I'm not a fan, but I feel so bad for her. People forget they're bashing a child. I've seen her in interviews and she seems well-spoken, educated, and mature for her age. Rapping may not be her niche, but she still has potential; and hosting a show is only the beginning of her exploration. Her rich "friends" should be helping her out, not letting her die by the wayside. Make-up, Hair, and image consultants can do wonders--just look at the huge difference it made with Kelly Rowland. That's the real problem in Black and Latino Hollywood--there is no support from our own people. We bash our own actors, singers, etc., and glorify bad behavior in our culture as if it defines who we are as a whole. Funny, people have more negative than positive things to say about Tyler Perry, but (aside from Spike Lee, who's in a class by himself) I've yet to see another minority actor or producer be so successful with putting so many of our people on the payroll and in the spotlight. There should be more of that happening. Let's just stop the hate, it's ugly.
