: Kandi is one of our favorite housewives, but she has a real bad reputation. According to a VERY WELL TRUSTED SNITCH, Kandi and her babys father BLOCK were business partners before getting together.
Block was ENGAGED to another woman, and living with her and their CHILDREN. Well Kandi started investing BIG MONEY into Block, buying him cars jewelry and paying for studio time (he was an up and coming rapper).
After tricking off MAJOR PAPER, Kandi and Block began a relationship, behind Block's fiance's back. When Kandi became PREGNANT, she ALLEGEDLY told Block that she would take care of the child HERSELF, and that she didn't need any money from him.
But shortly after Kandi had Riley, Block decided that he wanted to return to having a MONOGAMOUS relationship with his fiance.
Kandi later took Block to court, suing him for CHILD SUPPORT and for the return of money she "invested" in his career.
We're told that Block has always maintained a relationship with Riley.

I watched the show and the little girl Riley don't even like him. Kandi was trying to make sure she had a relationship with him. He couldn't afford support, and Kandi is already wealthy. I will believe Kandi on this one LOL! Unfortunately, most black fathers don't want to be in their children's lives, pay child support or step up to the plate! Until that statistic changes, we have no other reason to believe this story, or the pic this dude has taken with Riley. The picture clearly shows that he rather have a fancy whip, than spend money on his daughter, just another case of dead beat dad!

Kandi was always his beard ( you bums know what this is because you all have one) he used all her money to spend on his manly lover forgot about his child, contracted HIV and passed it on to some unsuspecting black girl. I believe the story, because Kandi's new "man" works on the RHOA, and was also in a long term relationship with someone else, before Kandi started tricking on him! As far as Riley's dad, he was with someone else and his kids before Kandi, so what's the problem with him going back to his original family??? I don't believe this. Riley couldn't fake the tears and pain her dad not being around caused. No little girl asks announces she doesn't want him at her party if he is being a good father. A good dad makes you eel like a princess and you want him around no matter what. I'm sure someone he knows is your source. If this was true the story wouldn't be in MTO he would be suing her for defamation and have real paperwork to show for his allegations
Tell me this...how does a REAL MAN *NOT* want to take care of his children??? Well I do remember kandi sleeping around a lot back in xscape days and she started sleeping with jermaine Dupree and said she was gonna go solo and the group split bcuz of her whorish ways. I know a few men who have children who are by black mothers and they don't want to have anything to do with the kids. But as soon as they have a child with a woman of another race they be running around with the baby like its more special than their other children. If that's the only way Kandi can get a man than that is sad. She will never be happy until she finds a man of her OWN.

Yes he had a fiance and he kicked it with other girls on the side and Kandi was one of them. He was not an up and coming rapper back in the day. He managed rappers back in the day and he even managed Tupac Shakur back in like 94'. But yall right he takes care of his daughter to the fullest these days. Peace.....
Maybe Riley didnt want a relationship with her father because he and her mom weren't together or maybe Kandi lie throughout the years about what really happened and why he went back to his ex. When you buy people with monetary things...it seems good for a while but eventually it gets old just like everything else but his heart was with another woman. Kandi has low self esteem and I dont know why because shes very pretty to me. Kandi stop breaking up relationships because in the end....how you get him is how youre gonna lose him. Well...regardless of her past....I like Kandi. Keep moving forward and keep your head up. I'm always happy to see a black woman out here taking care of her own. And if she pays for a mans anything...trip, etc...this is a sign of a god hearted person. I believe they call us givers and not takers. A perfect example of that was Kim on the show. Kandi reached out to help and did help and look who acted inappropriately. Kandi has paid her dues and has earned her rights to be on top right now. The past is HER past. It holds no merit surrounding all of the positive things she has grown into doing and becoming today. Always trying to put the heavier blame/burden on the women is a losing strategy if u reaally want things to get better for any community black or otherwise. It is a mans nature to be the leader in any sceanario and ideally he should take the initiative out of respect for his manhood, his power, and the desire to keep both of those intact. With that said, many black women have chosen to step up to the plate already and make positive changes in many areas but sadly since like i said it is ultimately the men who must accept their natural leader role and stand up to it, this has only caused added tension between blk men and women, not to say blk women should have waited but just saying that there is no shame in being a leader and bettering yourself first so that you can help to better your women and children in the best more natural way of things.
Black women who have bettered themselves are now angry that they had to go it on their own like that and see no reason to share their success or even their time in many cases with black men, and to a certain extent this is understandable. Many of these women have risen up and overcome while simultaneously bearing the sole responsibility for the kids which they then get insulted and degraded for as if having children is a shameful act. The fact is that whether they are married or not when they have them the process of childbearing/raising is hugely self sacrificial for a woman even when she has a mans support let alone without it.
Now black men who have bettered themselves often take the same attitude toward black women but not nearly as understanda-bly. You are men so you are supposed to lead, that doesnt make you too good for your female counterparts it just means that you are now where you are supposed to be, so the only thing left to do is to DO what you are supposed to do.
