Just about EVERYONE associated with Rihanna feels that this recording will cause SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE to her career. And last night, you could see the STRESS on Rih's face!!!
No one is criticizing her heavily...most people like the song...they did an incredible job! Why are people so foolish to judge and in denial about the ability of what they are capable of...which is making good music. Jay-z need to mind his business...I think he wants rihanna for himself because Beyonce is boring!!! Give it up and let them live....Geesh.
She is the baddest chick in the game and she doesn't and should not give a fudge what anyone thinks about her and Chris Breezy! Hollywood is not her God and Fudge Jay Z and all the critics. The world wants her to be the only female celeb embassador for domestic violence! that's not fair and cold blooded to put pressure on this one young woman and Chris Brown, who paid for his mistake in the media and court system. Screw anybody's else's opinion on who two grown adults should be and not be! they truly love one another and they are the one's who have to deal with each other, people need to worry about their own relationships and not focus on two young people making foolish mistakes, forgiving one another, not repeating the same mistakes and working towards a true healing and rekindle love that never went away for long! he did not beat on kae? is he still this "monster" the world and gorilla face Jay Z, who was not always honest and so perfect with his women in the past.
Many of you must be young because there's no way in hell she should have worked with him again. Fine, forgive him for beating you down and chocking you out but that does not mean you have to have the abuser back in your life. When she was promoting her CD a few years ago she spoke about wanting to help young girls who are in abusive relationships. How going back to Chris was a bad thing to do and she didn't want any young girl's death on her hands for being responsible. Now it seems as if she doesn't care that the young girls who look up to her may follow in her lead. Celebrities should not be role models but they are and she is setting a very bad example for young women. Take a look at the abuse statistics of young girls in this country and you'll understand why this is a bad move for her.
Rihanna don't care about herself, let alone what people think. Please. She did those songs to rub it in people's faces and give the world the middle finger. In return she'll get the middle finger right back.
I guarantee she'll care a wee bit when her career is on Keri Hilson's level or she's back doing performances on the island. She doesn't deserve the level of fame she has and I'll be glad when it is taken from her.

I agree forgiveness is key to moving on and living your life but that does not mean bringing yourself back to that person. Abuse is a sick cycle
