I'm sorry, but I have no problem with white people adopting black kids.. But if she is just taking him around white people who have adopted black kids, that's not going to give me the correct sense of his culture. Only because all black kids WEREN'T adopted by white parents.. So he might just grow up thinking all twisted when he sees a regular black family....

I use to,but I don't love her anymore,because that little boy always seems sad to me! The only time I ever seen this kid smile is when Sandra took him to greet some creepy looking white man he was exited to see. She better be taking good care of this little boy and looking out for him,not being gullible letting the wrong people spend time with him because yall know how it goes down in Hollywood,right?

You all sound like slaves! Everyone is assuming that there are no are no suitable people to be parents in the black community when this is not true! I thought about adoption but was discouraged because someone at the offices told me that they were looking for certain criteria! I do not feel that we are trifling people, I just blieve we arent well informed! These white people do this for tax write offs!

@sixfourfella you looking at stuff one way i had a friend that got his kid took cuz he was in jail at the time his baby mother got evicted after that and she went into a *** and they took her kid away cuz she had it 2 close 2 the stove they took her 2 court tried 2 take her baby when he came before trial he had 2 go vist his own daughter when he did they said he ate like an animal dont no what that means cuz blacks dont got no animal in there blood only whites even tho we are a higher type of animal it took 2 years for my friend 2 get his kid bac cuz they wanted 2 give it 2 a white police and his wife there is a reason why they doing this adopt your own our diffrent races not blacks cuz 2 black girls were killed cuz the adopted parents wanted them 2 act white and we are not.
Uh I'm pretty sure Sandra does not expect any cultural awareness to be found in hooking up for playdates with other black kids with white mums. Adoption agencies (at least where I'm from) prefer to place children in homes with same/similar cultural background but it usually isn't possible so what can you do? You just have to hope the adoptive parent is culturally aware.

@Topdawg1 You've misread my comment. Nobody thinks two white mums on a playdate with their black kids is a cultural experience. That's MTO playing silly buggers again. I personally think its more ideal for children to be adopted within their culture so yes I like to see black children adopted by black parents etc. However I realise this is not always possible or realistic. In these situations all you can do is hope that the child is being adopted by someone who is culturally sensitive. I think it can then be a very rewarding experience for parent and child. Also people are not adopting because they feel sorry. There are genuinely those who just long to be parents and love a child. Unfortunately its a fact of life that wherever children are involved, sinister types are likely to not be too far away. It's what they do. Sorry for the thesis, there's a whole lot more I'd like to say but it is MTO after all
i get what your saying an your right and i no Sandra could be a great mom but i think blacks are diffrent from whites this is the main reason i dont think they should adopt ours unless there spouse is black all this does if confuse the kid about who he really is there alot of white kids that needs adopting these people take healty black babies away from there parents and put them up for adoption not the Black babies that really needs adopting cuz there mommas are crack heads or not in there life,these babies they give back 2 there crack head moms.
I don't know what to think of white people adopting black children. First it can be looked at as being grateful someone is looking to love and take care of this innocent beautiful child. Next, it could be looked at as ***!!!!! white folks were selling black folks at one time, and now they adopt them.......is it you just in their blood to need a black in their house and behind closed doors this little boy will be bringing sandra her slippers and making all her tuna fish sandwiches, and cleaning up behind her husband could not stop cheating on her ***.
That's not cultural awareness. Get a clue. It's still white families. If he is playing with black kids from black families, then THAT's cultural awareness. I have no problem with her adopting, but it would be nice if he were really involved with other black families also. All he sees and experiences is white, white, white. Oh well, who cares.
