Her daughter is the person that should be praised for staying sane through all of this, getting on drugs is very selfish when you have kids. Stop jumping for joy when people get off of drugs, they did it to themselves. If you're stupid enough to put that poison in your body and destroy your loved ones then you dont deserve anything but a shower and a job application when you decide to get clean from this very disgusting habit. If you get celebration and praise for getting on drugs then getting clean then what do I get for never getting on??
So many people were praying for her, so many. God is good, and I'm glad she pulled it back together. What Maia has to do is BLOCK out all the negative drama that was in the past. Life is difficult, but she can be a testimony to the world that God can do it for you, if you hang in there.

A beautiful woman has just been delivered from addiction & ppl make a joke out of it when we just lost the Queen of pop better yet "The Voice", Whitney Houston. Her life was just spared when a legends life ended. We should be thanking God for Life. Shame on you all.
OMG, so happy to see her. She is still gorgeous but most of all she's healthy...God is real and not one to be mocked. Everyone can fall prey to something, whether it's drugs or food or *** or alcohol, etc., so judge her not. Thank goodness for all the wonderful souls who helped her, and thank God she saw it in herself to accept the help from them. Congratulations on being sober for two years! Just my opinion Maia but you need to stay as far away as you can from the wicked, satanic industry. You look like you have really done well by the grace of the Creator with getting your life back on track and the last thing you need to to be focusing on the industry. You may want to trust and have faith that your writing skills and natural abilities and gifts will allow you to make a living. Personally I feel and see evidence with you and other's that the "industry" does nothing but destroy people. You may want to focus and stay focused on your spiritual life, and trust and have faith that you can make it without the industry. Many people try to get back in the industry and the end result has been total destruction. You seem to be at peace with yourself so please reconsider and stop knocking at the devil's door. Peace.
im very happy for her and im so glad to find out that she finally turned her life around. not only should her books be published but she should also spread her story and message to the young kids in school. not a lot of ppl get second chances like her and for her to get that is a blessing. i really liked her in pretty much everything i saw her in on TV. i hope she keeps herself together for her daughter. she was always beautiful. good for her. this should be the top story of the day.
Yeah Maybe mental illness is over some people in the black communities head because they sure dont empathize with the mentally sick. They love to ignore the mentally ill or use them as some form of entertainment. A lot of black women that are mentally ill end up on drugs homeless and prostituting. Actually blacks exploit women like that take pride and right rap songs about it.. Instead of getting them the therapy and help they deserve. Bi- Polar disorder is way serious.
