In my estimation, the general tendency of men of color to switch to white women once their ship comes in is problematic because it's a betrayal of sorts. Non-white women were good enough for them when they were struggling, but when their financial capital improves, they want an upgrade in social capital. And that presumably comes with a white trophy chick. But with that said, women of color are partly to blame, due to their own treacherous behavior. Many black women, especially the young ones are only attracted to thugs,bums, and criminals. Reg black guys with a 9-to5 are too square for them and they gets no love. Many suddenly successful minority male athletes and entertainers were once reg guys, got dissed and ignored by sistahs in the clubs, and remember that past treatment later on when they money: green = white. Asian women prefer white men because YT are rumored to have more male mojo than asian guys, case closed. The asian guys, who can, grab a Becky. Karma is 360.
I long to see the day when black people, ESP. Black women are judged as individuals as opposed to a group, especially when the generalization is always negative. Its understandable somewhat when whites stereotype and consider anything negative the norm, but positive the exception, but its way more offensive when blacks do it. The fact of the matter is way more black women are graduating from high school as well as college, but somehow black WOMEN being ghetto is the reason black men date outside of their race. BS. If anyone has a right to that argument it is black women. Yeah some black women go for the bad boy, I.e. thug, but so do a lot of other non black women. Its not dating outside of ur race that's the issue, its the reason behind it and when you have black men doin it at such an alarming rate, you have to question why? I agree with some post about white women making an effort to be where these athletes are, because I went to this MSU alumni party for just Semipro players at a club that I had frequented before and I could count on one hand the number of white women prior to this event, but that nite they along with some Asian women who I had never seen at this place made up at least 1/2 of the women there and they were very aggressive compared to the black women who have been taught that the man should pursue the woman. Part of the problem is these player can have pretty much any woman they want so they don't feel they should have to pursue you and that maybe 1 reason some go for the white girls! They know how to manipulate and its sad how easy some black men are sucked in when having their ego stroked! Bottomline our relationships historically have been broken due to a variety of reasons beyond our control, but its up to both men and women if we want to mend them and their are issues on both sides. Problem is its usually the woman who tries to do the right thing, because trust me, contrary to what most would like to believe men of other races pursue black women all the time, so all of this talk about jealousy and bitterness is a bunch of bs, bcuz inspite of all the ish we have been through and negative comments we endure, mostly due to jealousy we are still some of the most confident women on the planet and unfortunately I think that bothers a lot of people bcuz they are intimidated by that. I know the importance of being humble and the difference between confidence and arrogance so I refuse to let anyone break my confidence so they can feel better about themselves...
