There is no need to debate Biblical doctrine on this site but when you characterize as unwed mother as a "Christian," you open up the discussion we've witnessed. It's plain and simple. Whether you believe in Jesus or Allah or Buddha or Nobody, since the courts determine what a man's obligation to his children are, then just make it easier on yourself and your unborn child by marrying their mother. No child wants his mother to be just another "baby mama." Why not a wife and mother? No judging here. It's just more respectful to the mother, father and the child to do it that way. End of story.

Who know's if Mieka is really pregnant. She been pregnant for over two years now with Derrick Rose baby...Yeah exactly. I dont know if Mieka has any other sisters that her younger sister would be rubbing the belly of, but she never came out and said Mieka's name in the tweet. All I can say if she really is pregnant and claiming its Derrick's he better get a test done to see if its really his baby, but the WORLD is hoping this is another one of Mieka's I need attention from the media b/c Derrick Rose was caught at All Star Weekend with another woman moment!
To all the people debating whether marriage is in the Bible-what Bible are YOU guys reading? Didn't Jesus tell the woman at the well that he knew she was living with a man who wasn't 'her husband', and had been married many times before? And there is MENTION of Joseph being "BETROTHED" to Mary when she falls pregnant.
Seriously, you don't have to agree with any biblical truths, but why are you trying to flat out deny them?
BTW-just because you have a child out of wedlock doesn't mean your life is over or that you can't be a Christian, but it also doesn't mean that is the way you would choose to do it. God gave us a perfect way, a righteous way. We mess up, yes, but don't fall down and stay in it.
If D-Rose & this girl do not have a solid foundation for marriage, then don't get married but take care of your responsibilities.
