Today I was buying some crawfish from a local store here in New Orleans and here comes Nita, Toya's mom, begging everyone to buy her a pound of crawfish. It was just sad all the way around.Wow . . . sad. We really hope that ain't Nita. But she did have a MAJOR crack problem. The bigger question is, whose baby is that she's carrying??? We feel REAL sorry for that poor child.Everyone was basically ignoring her and after a few minutes of her ranting about how no one loves her and how her daughter just used her (ppl were saying she should call up toya and wayne for money) she started begging everyone for spare change to pay for a shelter for the night.
I personally would never let this happen to someone in my family but its just sad to know that her family has so much and they don't help her.
People can't blame Toya for her mother addiction and not wanting help. When a person have a addiction they blame everybody in the world but themselves. My aunt have a addiction and if you give her money she's going straight to the crack house. Toya tried to help her mom she's just not ready to give it up.

Toya loves her mom if she didn't she wouldn't have let the world know who her mama was. She even said how when she use to see her she would point to someone else as her mom. This is probably an old pic or the story is just a lie. Her kids would let her live with them. Also nita b wanting to leave ATL *** go to new Orleans cause it's all she know. But I don't believe this.
First of all, that don't look like that lady, but it could be. When I was in New Orleans in a gas station paying for gas she walked in and gave the man 2 dollars and 30 cent and said 3 dollars on pump 9. The man was like, this is not 3 dollars, she said well make it three dollars. And this was like right after the show aired. Before you look down on Toya and the rest of her kids, you have to realize that they kept trying to help her. They have put her in múltiple rehabs and she never complete them. I know for a fact that u can help a person that doesn't want to be helped. Toya even bought into that restaurant for her mom. Nita did not stay there a good month. She brought her to ATL to live with her on the show and Nita stole her car and drove back to New Orleans to get high,remember?
I have always said it is something about Toya that seems so fake to me. She could put her mom up in a home and provide for her if this is true. She has the money! Sad to say, but, drugs ARE powerful. They have a control over people and MANY can't ever kick the habit. She should still help her mom, you only get one, but, Toya may think she is too good. Smh
Remember family will f@ck u first if nobody else will. Even if it is her, I pray the kids haven't turned they back on her. Thats yo momma @ the end of the day. Heck I feed the neighborhood stray cats milk. Wuz it somethin' *** the air *** the mid 70s or early 80s? 'cause if so then it would explain y people have simply lost they minds, ignorance
I pray this is not true it does not really look like her I really dont think that toya would do her moms like this she loves her family very much I wish I was back home to eat some crawfish is all I know I wonder if cajuns seafood is still around uptown what I wouldn't do for a hot sausauge on french man Im hungry now
I always percieved Toya to be a decent young lady, so I'm assuming that everything isn't what it seem, either way she did her job by giving her mother the means to get clean, and it's up to her mother to stay that way. Toya has a life and family to maintain on her own... It's right to look out for your parents but she has a life to.
If people paid attention, they would know TOYA HELPED HER MOM, SHE EVEN BOUGHT A BUSINESS FOR HER MOM!!!!!!
GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT PEOPLE!!! Toya wants her mom to be normal and tryed desperately to get her all the help she could but at the end of the day, the drugs are more powerful than the love of a daughter. Good job Toya for trying, and hopefully your momma will come around before it's too late.

For all you people JUDGING Toya for her MOTHER'S mistakes-STFU. Do any of ya'll have a parent with a CRACK addiction??? Well I do & that *** takes people to places they'd never thought they'd be in. my mother had a drug problem *** after I was born sent me to be brought up by my relatives in new orleans until I was about 6 yrs old. When she came to get me, she was clean, had remarried, & was pregnant with my lil bro. Fast forward 21 yrs-my mother is back to smoking crack, living in the streets, lying stealing, prostituting-u nane it, crackheads do it. She started back doing this *** when my uncle, her baby brother was murdered about 3 yrs ago. We definitely saw she was depressed, but we didn't know she had started back doing drugs. After a while she just couldnt hide it anymore & we found out she was, living a double life. She became EXTREMELY violent & unpredictable, she was assaulting my younger sibs & making false police reports against my father. Pretending to go to work , but was going to the trap houses all day. The entire police department & our neighborhood knew her as the "crackhead". And we lived in a good neighborhood. It was shameful, embarrassing, & hurtful. We tried over & over & over & over to get this woman help. But she continued stealing from the house, asking for money from me (i don't live @ home so i was the last to find all this out). What broke my dad & made him & my sibs say enough was how she started physically abusing them out of jealousy & crack rages. I'm taking holding knives to their throats, threatening them.....it got to a point where my dad & my 6 sibs all slept together in one room with the door locked because they were afraid of her. Regardless of her being our mother, she made the decision that she no longer cared about us & she LEFT US. Her antics ended up bringing CPS into our lives & a 3 year restraining order is on her. We cannot have any contact, with her or be around her or they will take my sibs away. You can only help somebody when they are READY for help, until then u do what u can when u can which is mostly just pray. Just because Toya may have money that doesn't mean she should exhaust herself & stress herself out chasing behind a grown *** woman that doesn't want to change-mother or not. She has a daughter & a family of her own that she has to be there for. I'm 27 yrs, old & for my mom to become a crackhead while I'm grown is just weird, but there's nothing anybody can do for her until she decides to give that *** up. Ya'll with this "i would put her here & do this & that".....y'all just don't know what CRACK does to people.
I do not feel sorry for anyone addicted to drugs. It is a choice. This person chose drugs over a normal life. Drugs and alcohol are extremely dangerous. She is old enough to know better. So, if she wants to stay in *** and beg for crawfish the rest of her sorry, unproductive life, I don't give a ***.
You can't help someone that doesn't want to help themselves... If that is her Mom, that is a sad situation. But, her Mom has to want help, and not just monetary help... You give a crackhead money, trust thet are buying crack with it! Not food, not ***, not utilities for the household, not rent, etc... And, Mom or not, she isn't Toya's responsibility, Toya is HER responsibility. She gave birth to her, not the other way around... And, jsut because you give birth to someone, doesn't automatically make you worthy of respect or being taken care of...
first off...Toya bought her mother a restaurant and all that...so how she don't care to help? If her mother ain't handle restaurant right...and if she's back to her addiction than that's on her....God blesses everybody in their own way...I don't feel sorry for her...just because she feels sorry for her self....the family really tried to reunite...and get everybody on the right path...can't nobody else walk your walk...
I dont even know who that hell that lady is and I dont care... but that dude needs to be locked up for wearing his pants that g0ddamn low of his *** like a big f@ggot. Saggy pants trickled down from jail inmates that wanted to let the other men locked up know, that they are down for the *** game. A way to have other dudes look at their ***...! Same thing with no lace on their shoes...in jail to prevent suicide...(like RUNDMC back in the day...) that trend went away but the ***-f*cking saggy pants trend continues!! ENJOY! Come on people, everybody has seen a crack addict before (there's one in every American family!) So why are so many people on here calling Toya fake and saying that she is leaving her mother hanging? If that's really her, it is not Toya or anyone elses fault. I'm pretty sure Toya has helped her more than enough times,( ie: the show!). There comes a time when you have to let addicts go and show em' tough love. #so quick to throw stones...God Bless them all.

We should violate the CPS restraining order,.allow her back home only for CPS to take my siblings away & split them up & put them in foster homes where they'll most likely be raped, neglected, & abused?? Serious CRACK/COCAINE/HEROIN addiction is one of those situations where 90% of the time you're forced too. Hell toya's mother's life is not more important than her own nor that of her daughters or anybody elses. And she has an obligation & the right to live a happy stress free life. I feel the same way about my mom-i choose my brothers & sisters over her ANY DAY. ANY FLUCKING DAY. Blood only makes you related, LOVE is what makes you family!
I feel like this mama or not she grown and everyone saying toya wrong is everyone forgetting she has other kids so why should it be all on toya to save her mother if she don't won't help she can only do so much that girl can't let her life pass her by trying to save her mother who clearly needs help but doesn't want any ......so I say love your mother no matter what but realize she also have a child to raise and its not fair to take away precious time from her child to try re-raise a grown azz woman
Instead of assuming her family is not willing to help her MTO please state the facts. Sometimes people don't want to be helped and Toya tried numerous time to help her mom and at some point you have to let people fend for themselves if they don't want your help. If she is out on the streets I bet it is because she refused help because her family seemed to want the best for her. Your headline states she "may" be homeless. Ok "may" means you don't know the facts and that's a fact. Just pray she gets it together and take the help I know that has probably been offered to her.
I don't like nor let nooo body just walk up on me asking questions... Plus, I watched the show... I saw Toya reach out, ya know. That's two strikes but I'll still give the lady a chance because that's just me, but I don't know about a dollar.
There is good in all of this because at first glance she doesn't appear to be on drugs anymore. Nope, her talk game and presentation is not up to crackhead standards. Everybody knows that seafood ain't a filling food.
