I played tennis in HS and i watched a video of Serena working out. She punches her hands into a bag of these pellet size *** almost like birdshot to create calluses on her hands. Gymnasts do it too. She's committed to her craft. Ballerinas are so petite and delicate but their feet take a lot of abuse too. I think her hands are beautiful because it shows her passion for the sport she loves and it represents her hard work. Unlike some women black or white myself included who would give in to vanity, Serena doesn't give a you know what.
