Four years is not a long time considering it takes most people between 8-10 years to complete their ph.d requirements and plus, he has the added responsiblity of being a celebrity...it takes discipline and dedication to complete a program...so congrats are in order for him!

For an athlete, and one who comes across as a duffus, I am certainly happy for him and with his resources, I am sure while it wasn't mentally easy for him, financially, he could pull it off! A PHD can take 3 years for someone without a job. It's not like undergrad school or even grad school. It's a process. So for him to finish in 4 1/2 years with the type of job that he's had/has is impressive. I'm impressed.
