Why is that white families can adopt black children but black families are put through hell to adopt a black child and can not adopt a white child not even if they are rich. This is the most outrages thing I have heard. White celebrities adopting black children is crazy. Feed some of the thousands of white and black children or better still your rich pay more taxes instead of getting tax credit for adopting a child and all the fees you paid to adopt.

Im a firm believer in adoption with the right people involved. Race is irrelevant when it comes to giving a kid a home. That Losing Isaiah mentality is why so many of our kids are left to perish. I rather this little fellow get adopted by a caucasion woman than grow up in a group or foster home and end up as a criminal like majority of them do. Kids who grow up in that environment almost always grow up to be messed up individuals. They go through neglect, violence, sexual assaults, mental anguish and many other twisted things. Wow the adoption threads are replacing the IR dating threads for the most hateful. It is always preferable for a child to be placed with a family of its own cultural background and adoption agencies try very hard to do this. However it's a matter of logistics. There are simply not enough white babies available for adoption to meet demand and too many black babies needing a home. Luckily there are childless people who are unconcerned with race and only want a child to call their own, to love and raise. It is then the responsibility of the adoptive parents to ensure the child is raised with an awareness and love of their own culture. I would hope they do this. Its not impossible. I agree with JustTooMuch though it's good to see the child being adopted from the U.S. Too many people going overseas when there are so many needy children in our own countries. This is the reason why we as a race have a problem with whites adopting blacks. Just because you adopt a black child does not mean you don't have hang ups about the race. I have seen this for myself. Also, the only reason why the media makes such a big deal about it is because it is black/white. Here's an answer ... black babies are cheaper to adopt. My husband and I recently looked into adoption and we looked into the fees .. the vary by race, a pure white child is several thousand dollars more than an African American child or a child mixed with African African. Check the fees in your area to confirm , its at lest that way in the stat I live in which is IL.
