: That's Teyana yesterday outside the Beverly Center mall
1st of all Teyana Taylor doesn't have a weave she has 'very' thick lustrous hair, I know it's hard for some people to believe that there are some black women who have naturally thick long hair, but she does. Secondly, Teyana is NOT a socialite by any stretch of the imagination and MTO before you assign titles to people please make sure you are familiar with the definitions...smh!
ok first she has a nice slim body second that is not her hair so stop third socialite *** outta here she been holding on to her 15 mins till she got anotha deal fourth the kicks is a no no they not even female kicks and last I agree pretty drag queen she has strong features she gotta make herself look more natural that hair makes her look tranney
Love this girl since I seen her on sweet 16 her swag cray and her parents are rich but she no socialite. She's been in music since she was a kid... Aaaaand that's her haaair!
Lmao I sound like a Stan .. But no boo boo Neva that ( in my ratchet voice) lol That's my instagram buddy
Which reminds meeee hit me up on the gram @thesweet1
@fallenangel...You're exactly right some people seem to WANT to believe that every black woman with long hair who isn't biracial, etc. has a weave. Teyana Taylor has ALWAYS had that length of hair, texture and thickness since she was a little girl. So unless her mother was putting a weave in a 4 yr. old's head she has always had long VERY thick hair. Sit down haters and stop assuming things you have NO knowledge of.
@sixwishes...Ummm your message is wrong that girl has NOT always worn long weave as a matter of fact she NEVER has. So please inform me of what source you get your lies because actually that person should be ***...lol! I am passionate about this subject because the same lies were circulated on my sister when she was younger but of course the liars could only quote another liar as their source of reference...smdh!
Bigdeal500, you're in denial. Just because someone had long hair when they were younger doesn't mean its to their ankles now. Beyonce, Monica, and Ashanti all had hair to their legs as little girls, look at them now. I've seen photos Teyana at 14 when she had typical relaxed black hair that hardly reached her shoulders, so i have no clue what you're talking about. YOU cant tell from pics that it's a weave, but the rest of us aren't blind. That hair looks Brazilian. Black women with long hair don't use greasy product at the top of their head and nothing at the ends. Chicks with weave do that to blend their roots and preserve their weave. No one assumed she was bald. They just stated that its a weave
@bigdeal500, sweetie I understand you being passionate about something based on your own situation,, or that of your sisters. However you're asking me to prove to you, that this is not her hair. You can look at the roots and her edges love, not sure if you know anything about tracks or not but it's clear that this is a weave. Honestly not understanding why it's such a big deal, a lot of people wear weaves that have naturally long tresses to keep their own hair from becoming damaged. When she was on sweet sixteen that was tracks, and if you think anything different suga then maybe you are the one that need glasses. Just like I stated what I felt you are entitled to your opinion as well, but being snippy is so un cool on so many levels. I suggest, and this is merely a suggestion before making a big deal about something that you are not a hundred percent about you should keep your bias opinions to yourself. Have a great day honey.
@Bigdeal this girl has always worn weave ever since she hit the scene on my sweet 16. I never dated a woman with weave, yet i can spot a lacefront from a mile away. She is practically known for that big poofy lacefront she finally retired. Im not saying she's bald, but i saw her real hair once when she was an extra on wifeswap. She had to been 13 or so and her hair wasn't at all long. So youre lying about her always having long hair. You should stop now, because at least ten more people will *** you down by the end of the day on this girls obvious weave.
I am very familiar with Teyana and her family and I KNOW she has never worn a weave I'm not assuming that's a fact. She does NOT wear weave and never has if people want to try to micro analyze her hair and feel a need to say that isn't her hair go right ahead but you don't know what you're talking about. I know there are many celebrities that wear weave who have hair or who had long hair at one time so that's not a revelation to me. However, this girl does not wear a weave. Another celebrity that has very long hair and has never worn weave is Salt from the group Salt & Pepa and a lot of people swear she wears a weave now too because she has let her hair grow long.
@sixwishes...why in God's name are you bringing up lace front wigs? That is totally different from a weave and Teyana has never worn a wig. OMG I think it's time for me to politely bow out of this topic because it's now becoming bizarre. I respect all opinions and apologize if I was a little rude with my comment to Urbangirl33 about wearing glasses.
You're welcome Urbangirl33...@sixwishes 1st of all you're saying lace front and weave as if they're synonymous and anybody who knows ANYTHING about hair knows they are not. A lace front is a wig that just has a natural hair line and a weave is hair human or synthetic hair that you have sewn (hence the name weave) into your own hair with much of your own hair still showing to allow a natural look. Lace front wigs cover your complete head as any wig would do. So you honestly need to get off this topic since you're a man and obviously have little knowledge on the subject we're even debating...and yes I am quite familiar with Teyana and her family. Why is that a surprise? Most people know a celebrity or two or have a celebrity or two in their family, so ahh you can quit!
Lol so weave can only be sewn with hair being left out? No one glues, clip or fuse it in? Full weaves don't exist, right? I don't know much about weave but i know enough to spot one. Weave is called weave because hair is weave together, not sewn on to hair, moron. Don't come down on sixwishes for being a dude.
@Christiebarbie...Obviously you know as little as sixwishes if you think clips, fused hair or glued hair are weaves they are a 'different' type of way to add hair extensions to the head that's why they have different names. Yes weaves can cover the head fully but they are still weaves 'only' if they are sewn in. Sixwishes was specifically making comments about weaves and lace fronts not other types of methods of putting in hair extensions. So you can sit down and *** and don't try to correct me with your limited knowledge!
@ChristieBarbie I quoted what you said I was 'only' speaking on weaves because that's what we were commenting about. Stay out of adult conversations with your limited comprehension skills and go back to playing with your barbie dolls. You're obviously someone's child who needs to stay off adult sites and play with your little friends...lol!
Actually, i don't play with barbies, you condescending little baldhead ***, its a family nickname. My first name in Christina-Barbara, christie-barbie for ***. Im not as familiar with weave as you think you are because my hair hasn't veena *** than twelve inches since i was three, but i know the terms, installment, and can easily spot it. Sixwishes, Im beginning to understand lol Im so wasting my time. She must be mistaking the hair on Teyanas head for what's between her legs, because obviously she's a muffled diving stan, not a friend.
@proverbial i know its a touchy issue, but someone has to speak up. I can't stand seeing women with lifeless *** three inch ponytails because mama didn't teach them anything but perming, gel and only washing your hair twice a month. Even worst walking around with 24 inches of some lice carrying indian child's religiously sacrificed hair. Not many black women have grown hair past their shoulders since the 70s. *waits to be chewed out by some bald headed hoodrat*
Sixwishes and ChristieBarbie as I said both of you are not as knowledgeable as you think of the subject. ChristieBarbie I know what I'm commenting to because of I googled the information not because I wear hair extensions. If you two bird brains would google it too you wouldn't be on here bantering back and forth with me and you would have your facts straight. ChristieBarbie I know a lot about Rocket Science too but it's not because I'm a Rocket Scientist it's because I read and look up information I'm not familiar with unlike you and sixwishes who only assume your information is correct by whatever form of logic (or lack of ) you have. ChristieBarbie is a tag-a-long who goes with whatever she is told, you don't have to worry about her ever picking up a book reading and getting knowledge from a reliable source...lmao!
@Sixwishes here is the definition of a hair weave: a process in which a hairpiece is interwoven with real hair to conceal alopecia or increase the thickness or length of the hairstyle;
@sixwishes...where does it say weave is the product? It's the method of getting the extension into the hair.
In addition, Sixwishes many women of other races wear hair extensions (you better ask somebody) especially in the entertainment industry. It's certainly not something only black women own a patent on. You ever watch Jersey Shore all those Italian females on that show wear hair extensions...guess their mamas didn't teach them how to better care for their hair too..(wink)!
@sixwishes...you better ignore what I say because you know your mental capacity is maxed out. Who the hell cares who you like, all I'm concerned about is who my husband likes which is me and I'm glad you know the ethnicity of everyone who posts on this site...I never spoke of what my ethnicity. LOL but I have to say your comments are hilarious in a weird/demented way!
Lol sixwishes, i don't think she's going to *** up. Now she's twisting peoples words. Anyways, i usually don't say much about black hair since i am mixed, but i agree with what you said. Improper care is why most black women hair never will grow pass the shoulders. I advocate natural hair as much as i can. Any woman who leaves the chemicals alone and go easy on heat usage is guaranteed long hair after two years. I've seen black women go from two inches to 12 in a couple years.
Her body is sooooo amazing, she's right behind Pilar in my book, yet her face is sooooo unfortunate. I can't believe there's even a debate if Teyana wears weave. Obviously! When hasn't she. Also, weave is a noun and verb. You can weave (verb) something as in crochet, or get weave (noun) put in your hair. There's sew-ins, quick weaves, crochet, braids, wigs, clip-ins, glue-ins, and god knows what else. Im not a weaveologist, i just wore it for a couple years. Online dictionary wouldn't be an adequate source.
I'm not 100% on this because I'm not digging in her scalp, but I think she doesnt have a weave, that's all her. Try and look for her super sweet 16 from years ago online somewhere and you'll see she was once known as the girl with the "big hair" so to speak. Her *** was wild lmao. All she did was tame it down some.
everyone is surprised that T has long healthy hair, b/c 2 2 many females r wearing wigs, weaves, etc. especially ghetto women, they need to take care of their own natural hair and stop wearing sacrificial Indian and Malaysian hair. YUCK!! gIRLS with natural hair r prettier and healthier looking, they just look cleaner.
If someone's features don't look cohesive or symmetrical or are just unpleasant to look at, then fine, but not looking like a white person doesn't automatically mean any of the above are true. Any black guy that talks about black women having monkey features, should have been aborted. Because chances are his black *** has monkey features too. Black people are not SUPPOSED to look like anyone else but us. Love the fact that we're unique. We're already indoctrinated to hate everything about ourselves. Free your minds from their cells coons..
